Getting Around

Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport (AMS) is one of Europe's busiest airports, offering service to cities throughout the world on nearly every major airline. AMS is located approximately 9 miles from the Conservatorium Hotel; you can easily reach the hotel by taking the train from the airport and connecting to tram 5, which stops directly outside. Your concierge can provide detailed instructions for taking the train and tram.

A car is not necessary, as Amsterdam is very pedestrian- and cyclist-friendly—and the Conservatorium Hotel is located just a few blocks from some of the city's biggest sights. Public trams and trains are other convenient options for exploring. If you do drive, please note that additional charges apply for valet parking and the nearest public parking garage is approximately two blocks away.
