Easter in Ashville

We absolutely loved Ashville and The Foundry was amazing. The hotel is very unique because it is a converted Foundry so the spaces were not like a typical hotel. We stayed in a Corner Suite which had a very comfortable living area and the bathroom was roomy enough for two people to be in it at the same time. The hotel Lounge was tons of fun. Good bar tenders and music every night. The restaurant on site only serves breakfast and lunch which is not an issue because the food scene in Ashville is huge. You can walk the city very easily so there is no need to get your car out of valet if you don't want to. I recommend the following restaurants; Curate, Table Ashville and Limones which are all within walking distance of the Foundry.

The Foundry Hotel

The Foundry Hotel in Asheville, North Carolina, was terrific. First and foremost, everyone working at The Foundry went above and beyond with service and great attentiveness not just for my mom and I but with all guests and visitors coming and going. The rooms, linens, and the beds are superior to any other hotel I have stayed in Asheville.

Benne on Eagle is accessible from the hotel and serves five-star food. Every meal, (breakfast and dinner) was amazing. The staff working at the restaurant went above and beyond. So attentive, so kind, so accommodating.

When my mom and I left, we felt like we made new friends, which we hope to see when we return, and we hated to leave all the comfort, staff aka new friends at The Foundry.

perfect location and fabulous employees

We had been to see the Biltmore Mansion about 15 years ago. We went at Christmas before and wanted to do it again. The Foundry Hotel is right downtown. It’s really closed to everything. The Biltmore Mansion did not disappoint but we also, for the first time, explored Biltmore Village and some of the surrounding charming towns such as Waynesville and Donaldsonville. The employees at the Foundry were the highlight. The bar is nice and I recommend the food there. The on-site restaurant is very booked and we thought the food, except breakfast, was nothing special. Eating at the Grove Park Inn is an event and we recommend but the Foundry is within walking distance of lots of eats and the suite kitchenette is sufficient. All in all we really liked this hotel and this suite and we would go again. Highly recommend
