On-site parking is available in an underground garage for $45 per vehicle per night and accessible with an electronic pass that you can receive only after checking in. Valet parking is not available. Parking in the residential area surrounding the hotel requires purchasing an additional permit, available through the hotel, that is valid for one week.

Maximum occupancy: The maximum occupancy of this unit is five, including accommodations for one on a rollaway. Rollaways are $50 per night which will be billed at checkout. Rollaway beds must be requested prior to arrival and are subject to hotel availability.
Pet policy: Pets welcome for $50 fee per pet, per night with advance notice, subject to availability and weight limits. Limelight provides complimentary water bowl and pet mat.

Location

The Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE) is just 3 miles from Aspen; the Limelight Hotel offers complimentary shuttle service from ASE. The Eagle County Airport is located 70 miles from Aspen. It is served by four airlines with nonstop flights from several major North American cities during the winter. Summer and other seasonal service is more limited, but connections are still easy. Denver International Airport (DIA) is located a bit farther at 220 miles from Aspen, but you can fly into DIA and have your concierge arrange private or shared ground transportation to Aspen.

The Limelight Hotel is located in downtown Aspen, so you can easily walk to the city's restaurants, shops and attractions. The hotel's shuttle service is also a great option for getting to the slopes and around town. Due to parking restrictions in the neighborhood, driving is not recommended. A rental car is recommended if you plan to explore beyond the town. Club partner Avis is your best bet.

Fantastic property in Aspen!

The Limelight was a great hotel. Wonderful customer service and walkable to everything! Amazing spicy margarita! Fresh and delish! Must try. We will be back!

The Limelight is fine, but it is a bit crowded

This Hotel has a good price point, it is well located, across the street from Wagner Park, but I don't think the staff is as good as other places.

They have a "free" breakfast and with that price it is very crowded and pushy trying to get two children fed and ready to go skiing. We didn't know about the breakfast part before we got there, but it wasn't a bonus for us.

Shuttle service can be good, but you really have to make sure you reserve it properly and in advance.

I think the next time we go, we will stay at one of the homes offered by INSPIRATO and go with a larger group.

Amazing Aspen; Limelight not for everyone

Every year we go to Aspen for President's Day weekend- one of the busiest times of the ski season for the area. Overall the trip was wonderful and in line with expectations. The positives were related to the Inspirato service: Our Inspirato concierge was very helpful. She knew people at the popular restaurants which certainly assisted in securing dinner reservations. Transportation to and from Vail Eagle Airport was handled seamlessly and babysitters were booked in advance with no issues. A check in after we arrived to make sure everything was going to plan would have been nice, but since there were no issues, that isn't really a negative.

The only part of the trip that wasn't five stars was the hotel. Last year we stayed at the St. Regis and we knew that this hotel was not that caliber so I am not comparing it to that standard. Limelight is more a Residence Inn level I would assume. Pros: rooms are much larger than the standard rooms at the St. Regis, which is a plus with lots of ski gear and clothing. They have house cars that will take you to specific mountains and they also have a ski concierge on site which helps with printing Apen Cards, etc. Breakfast buffet was great given it is included in your room rate. I would not have paid for it.

Cons: There are no service elevators (at least that we saw) so housekeeping staff takes the passenger elevators with hotel guests. 50% of the time we were in an elevator with piles of laundry which I find pretty unsanitary and inappropriate. The faucet in our shower was installed incorrectly so it took forever to figure out how to get hot water from the faucet. Engineering came to the room and said "it's a busy time, you may not get total hot water." This is a hotel not a home, that response is inexcusable. Finally, every afternoon they had carts full of trays of little treats (banana chips, yogurt pretzels, chips, etc) that they delivered to rooms. We asked how could we get a tray (we have 7, 5 and 3 year olds, so you can imagine how big their eyes were) and were told those were for "special guests" to be delivered to their rooms. I thought we'd find one in our room one day given the Inspirato relationship, but we never received one. Guess we weren't in the "special guest" group.

Overall, would we stay at Limelight again? Yes. In my view, you're not in your room as much during a ski vacation vs. a beach vacation and the prices at the St. Regis or Little Nell (3x the cost of the Limelight) aren't worth it for the difference in service and smaller room size. If there were other hotels in the area we'd certainly try them, but otherwise we'd likely return knowing what to expect this time around.

Quick but fun weekend in Aspen

It finally snowed which made the morning view of the mountain from the room gorgeous. The enclosed underground heated garage was an awesome surprise. The hotel was a nice small boutique style but with every amenity.
