It’s easy to get around via the local public transportation (MTBA), on foot, or by taxi. We don’t recommend renting a car in Boston, as the streets can be confusing to navigate and parking is expensive.

Newbury Hotel is Fabulous!

Had an outstanding stay at The Newbury Boston this past weekend—a perfect blend of heritage, hospitality, and just the right amount of unexpected delight.

From start to finish, the experience was seamless. The concierge team made planning easy, the valet had us in and out without a hitch, and check-in was fast and frictionless. The room itself? Clean, modern, understated—exactly what you want after a long day. Yes, the bathroom was tight (welcome to Boston), but the standout feature made up for it: a working fireplace.

Not only that, but there was a menu of curated firewood options—and yes, there's a wood butler who arrives post-dinner to get it going for you. That's next-level. After a phenomenal Italian meal upstairs, coming back to a crackling fire was the perfect end to the night.

It's those kinds of thoughtful, elevated touches that make a stay memorable. The Newbury has earned a spot on my short list when I'm in Boston again.

Exceptional hotel in the heart of Boston

Hotel is exquisitely decorated, walking distance to many shops, restaurants and the Public Garden. The staff was professional and friendly.

Exceptional service with modern comforts

Hotel stay was fantastic not only because of the modern comforts but also because of the staff who make it a priority to make guests feel welcome. The location is also prime in Boston’s Back Bay a walk to most shopping centers and even a short drive to Harvard.

Wonderful stay

My family of 3 loved the Fireplace Suite at the Newbury Boston. Beautiful room (although ours lacked a view) and we loved having the hotel staff build a fire for us one afternoon/evening before dinner. The hotel is in a perfect location in Boston, adjacent to tons of high end shopping and across from Boston Commons. Highly recommend eating at Contessa and having drinks at the Street Bar as well. Can't wait to go back!

Central Old world charm wiht Modern comforts

Loved our stay here. Great service, very comfortable. pristine large room with all the amenities. Such a central location as well. Breakfast room at top of hotel has incredible views.
