Our concierge and his support team

To no surprise, the home we stayed in was spectacular . What made our stay even more memorable was Gerardo and his whole team; Chefs, maids, pool cleaner, and many others. Gerardo found snorkeling equipment for all of us … several beaches with 10 minutes of the house. We had car problems the morning of our departure and Gerardo got up at 5am to and drive us the airport. Then took car of our car… he’s amazing! All of the restaurants in the area served great food at a low price, with the exception of the Beach club. The Beach club is very clean and proper. Their service was impeccable, so we expected to pay more for our drinks and food. Had a blast!😃

Fantastic!!

What a special trip! Needed to relax and come back to earth, and this is the place to do it. Gerardo and Valentina are the best. Every detail was taken care of and planned for an extraordinary trip. Breakfast each morning was a treat. The local restaurants are simple, and the food is outstanding. The owners in many of the places talked with me and shared their experiences. The owner of the Naked Indian named after a tree, is delightful. She is 82 and her stories and welcoming demeanor made for a fun and wonderful evening. The beach club is beautiful and service impeccable. Overall, one of my more memorable Inspirato trips! Thank you again to Gerardo and Valentina for a job well done!

A Truly Unforgettable Stay at Pizote

Our stay at Pizote in Costa Elena was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, professionalism, and the kind of attention to detail that turns a vacation into a lifelong memory.

The villa itself is stunning; beautifully designed, impeccably maintained, and situated perfectly to take in the breathtaking views of Costa Rica's Pacific coastline. Every room was spacious and luxurious, blending modern comfort with natural elegance. The outdoor areas;especially the private pool and terrace offered the perfect spots to relax, dine, and soak in the sunsets.

What truly set this experience apart, though, was the service. The concierge team, especially Valentina and Gerardo, went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, from coordinating transportation and excursions to preparing the villa with our grocery list before arrival. Every interaction was warm, professional, and genuinely caring.

Whether you're looking for adventure or relaxation, Pizote offers the best of both worlds in a secluded, secure, and spectacular setting. We left feeling refreshed, reconnected, and already planning our return. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a luxury experience in one of Costa Rica's most pristine and private destinations.

Great family vacation!

Our family of four (kids 7 & 9) had a great week here over 4th of July! Great house, service and beach club.

House was great. It does have stairs and some steep drop offs outside on the patio. It was fine for our kids but for younger ones/depending on the kid I might not have been too excited about it. Also for older folks, 3 of the 4 bedrooms are downstairs and there are stairs to and from the driveway so that might be a consideration for some groups.

The housekeeper was amazing and we had the most delicious breakfasts and she kept everything spotless! Highly recommend using that for mornings without activities.

The shuttle drivers were amazing and always available quickly when we needed to go somewhere. The only recommendation is that they don't start until 11am which was a little late for us when kids were up and wanted to hit the beach, so we just would walk down which was a bit of a walk but they got used to it. They might consider starting the service at 10 instead just to provide more options for people to take advantage of the early part of the day - especially in rainy season when the weather is typically nice in the AM. You could also rent a car if this was important to you - though the shuttle and walking was perfectly fine for us!

Costa Elena = paradise

We arrived at Costa Elena unsure what to expect. Everyone told us the area was remote, but we wanted part of Costa Rica that no one we knew had experienced. Costa Elena surpassed all of our expectations. We traveled with our three children, and invited friends to join us at Capuchin the first week. We moved to Pizote the second week. The trip was, in a word, perfect. Our concierge Loreana set the tone with her texts, pictures and helpfulness well before the trip. Her cheerful attitude was infectious and there was no task too small for her to jump on with an exclamation point. From a perfect Barbie cake for our seven year old bday, to recommendations for restaurants, aloe Vera for sunburns, and on and on, she made the trip amazing. The Costa Elena Beach Club was one of the most perfect experiences ever. Chino, Pablo and Ronaldo welcomed us, fed us, brought drinks and smoothies for the kids and made us feel welcome from the first minute we arrived. The pool area is stunning with cabanas and multiple ways to stay in the shade during the hottest part of the day. The entire set up is comfortable and the beach is beautiful. We rented a car and loved having the flexibility to explore the natural beaches that are a five minute drive in every direction. Loreana guided us and gave us ongoing feedback on new beaches to try, as well recommendarions for an adventure park and other fun activities: Having stayed in two of the villas I can say with 100% certainty that the villas are fantastic. The view from every room is incredible, the beds are fabulous to sleep in and the pool/relaxation area is exactly what you want after a long day at the beach. We were up early to watch the sun rise out of the living room and would come home after watching the sunset at the beach and get right into the pool. Because we were there for such a long time, I had plans to drive all over Costa Rica. But the reality was that no one in our family wanted to leave Costa Elena. A truly special vacation spot that I would 100 percent recommend to anyone looking to really get away.
