Location

It's easy to reach the Dalmatian Coast. Fly into Split Airport (SPU) in Split, about a 50-minute drive away from your residence. You will most likely connect in a major European air hub, such as Frankfurt, Munich, or London. Note that many flights into Split operate seasonally.

To get to your residence from the airport—as well as to explore beaches, the nearby national park, villages and more—we recommend renting a car; Club partner Avis is a great option. Your Destination Concierge is happy to arrange private transportation, as well.

Fabulous!

We had a great time.

The location and home were fantastic.

Hana was fabulous!

We did day trips to Sibenik, Split, Trogir and Plitvice national park.

Boat trips to the blue cave, islands and Hvar.

Rented bikes from Primosten and did an 11 mile round trip coastal ride that was epic.

An Unforgettable Luxury Experience (with World-Class Service!)

I honestly cannot recommend Inspirato's service and my stay at Villa Ambra in Croatia highly enough.

The Location & Villa

The experience starts right from the beginning—the short trip from the Split airport is an incredibly easy and scenic drive along the beautiful Dalmatian Coast. Once you arrive, Villa Ambra itself is spectacular. It has everything you could possibly need or want to feel like you are in a luxury home away from home. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the walks from the villa along the coastline are incredible, leading to lovely bars and restaurants in both directions. Additionally, nearby Primošten is a gorgeous small harbor town with a fabulous selection of places to eat, drink, and shop.

World-Class Service

While the property is stunning, the highlight of the trip was the unparalleled service. I have to offer my deepest gratitude to Hana. From the moment I booked until the day of my departure, Hana could not have been more helpful, kind, or diligent in ensuring I had the perfect stay.

My plans changed multiple times leading up to my final days and arrival. Despite this, Hana was always ready with the best recommendations for what to do in the area, catering beautifully to both group activities and solo travel.

Final Thoughts

I have been privileged to travel extensively and stay in 5-star-plus accommodations worldwide, but I have never had the pleasure of being looked after as well as I was by Hana. She is an absolute credit to Inspirato. Anyone planning a trip to Croatia should look no further than Inspirato—I will continue to recommend them to everyone!

Extraordinary Experience

Hana is an exceptional trip planner; the house is exceptional in every way; the location cannot be beat; both the house pool and the common pool have beautiful views. Everything about this experience was exceptional.

Primosten - AMAZING trip!

Our stay in Primošten at an Inspirato home was absolutely fantastic. Early May turned out to be the perfect time to visit — no crowds, lovely weather, and everything felt relaxed and peaceful.

One of our highlights was swimming in the Adriatic Sea, just steps from the house. The water was cold for the first ten seconds, but then it was incredible! We climbed in using the ladder off one of the many rocky platforms — it's not a sandy beach, but that made it all the more unique. It was also wild how effortlessly we floated thanks to the high salt content.

On our first evening, we had a traditional Peka meal delivered, and it was perfect. Delicious, hearty, and more than enough for dinner and plenty of snacking afterward — a stress-free and cozy way to start our trip.

The town of Primošten itself is so quaint and walkable, just a beautiful stroll from the house. One of our favorite experiences was the Premium Olive Oil tasting — super informative and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. We ended up ordering a case to be shipped home, and we're eagerly awaiting its arrival!

A huge thank-you to Hana, who coordinated everything — tastings, walking tours, dinner reservations. She checked in daily and made sure every detail went smoothly. Her help made the whole experience feel seamless and so well cared for.

I would recommend this trip 100%. If you're considering Croatia, early May is ideal, and Inspirato made it a truly unforgettable experience.

Ambra - Dalmation Coast

Villa and location were fantastic. The Dalmation coast is beautiful and unlike any other place we have visited. Hana, our concierge, planned all of the details and outings for our family and did a great job. We will definitely come back. Next time would almost exclusively stay in the Primosten area and Kornati National Park. I think Inspirato should add a multi day boating excursion around the Kornati islands.
