This home is exclusively staffed, managed, and maintained by Inspirato.
No snowboards are allowed at Deer Valley, but they are allowed nearby at The Canyons and Park City Mountain Resorts. (These resorts offer half-pipes and terrain features as well.)
The Silver Strike Lodge is a collection of private residences and does not provide onsite dining or other amenities beyond what is listed. Nearby options are accessed via the free, on-call shuttle service and include various full-service resort properties as well as historic Main Street Park City.
Please note, Inspirato is unable to fulfill or deliver any alcohol orders placed with our team in the state of Utah per local laws and regulations.

Additional Information:

Cancellation policy: The Standard Inspirato Cancellation Policy applies for this property. Please note the Peak Reservation policy applies for Christmas and New Year's weeks and certain other travel dates.
Maximum occupancy: Up to one additional guest may be accommodated over the stated occupancy at a rate of $50 per guest per night. This guest will be accommodated on an air mattress.
Pet policy: No pets allowed.

Location

Accessing Deer Valley and Park City is quick and convenient. Fly into Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC), hop in a shuttle or rent a car, and arrive at your hotel 39 miles later via interstate highways. With hundreds of flights arriving and departing each day, you'll be able to maximize your time. Many flights arrive before noon, leaving plenty of time to warm up those ski legs in the afternoon. If you prefer a private transfer from the airport, your concierge will be happy to make arrangements for you. If you want to explore further, a rental car is your best option. We recommend club partner Avis. Free dial-a-ride service is available in the resort area, as well.

August 2026 Family Vacation

Silver Buck is a beautiful condo, very close to the Montage and Silver Lake resorts. Comfortably slept 6 adults and 2 kids. Brenna, our concierge, was wonderful. There’s one parking spot in the garage, but you have access to a free shuttle that runs all day - very awesome. I

Great Experience

We LOVED the location and the ease to the slopes. The lockers are just downstairs on the 2nd floor and it's a true ski-in/ski-out. We skied right to the door both days, kicked off the skis - pulled off the boots and headed up the elevator. Our wives absolutely raved about the Montage Spa day and we all loved the Alpenglobes for lunch at the Stein. The Deer Valley on-call shuttle is such an easy way to get around the mountain and down to Main St. We will be back again!

Fantastic Concierge Team!

Out of all of the Inspirato trips we've taken, this team was the best! They were prompt in responses and follow ups and when we needed something on site, it was handled in a split second. All of their recommendations for activities and dinning were spot on. The condo is very well laid out, updated, and is supplied with everything needed. We were unsure about having 8 people based on a previous review but there was plenty of room and bedrooms are spread out enough. We did have 4 very active teens that weren't sitting around in the condo much. Our only complaint was the construction noise from repairing the roads but that is to be expected in summer months.

Great Location.......but the construction noise...

This unit is in a wonderful location - ski locker is 20 yards from the lift and the valet was there daily to bring your skis out and clean them off at the end of the day. Very convenient (and free) shuttle service in/out of Park City to hit all the great restaurants. The unit itself was fine for our group since we were active skiing each day and had dinner out most nights - might be a bit tight for a group of 6 or more. Well appointed kitchen. Concierge service was very good (as usual).

And now the downside - we were warned about the construction noise but it was worse than we anticipated. One morning it started at 6:00 am. I would wait until the construction is completed to book this unit again but would stay here in the future.

BEWARE OF ADJACENT CONSTRUCTION FEB 2021!!!!

This was our least favorite home/condo with Inspirato since joining in 2015. Although the Concierge service provided by Inspirato remained at the expected high level, this particular condo felt small and cramped, despite being the largest in the Silver Strike Lodge at Deer Valley. The layout seemed poorly planned with a small, cramped kitchen and overall poor utilization of space. The occupancy of 8 (4 adults and 4 children in our case) would be more accurately stated as 6 max.

The level of ski condo we've previously vacationed in with Inspirato far exceeded this deer valley property in both layout, construction quality and location (I'll explain in a bit).

To make matters worse there is an early phase construction project going on directly in front of all of your condo windows. YOU WILL BE LOOKING DIRECTLY AT A LARGE CRANE, CEMENT SLAB TOWER, I-BEAMS and CONSTRUCTION WORKERS WHILE HEARING THE BANGING OF HAMMERING, RIVETING AND CRANE LIFTS ANYTIME YOU ARE IN THE CONDO from about 6AM to 6PM. When I asked locals, they are saying that the project is behind schedule, thus accounting for the extended hours.

In all fairness the Inspirato staff was quick to inform me that a construction disclaimer was mentioned via email to me in September 2020, with the expectation that by February the work would be all inside. Obviously, there has been a huge delay in this construction project.

The location is the ONLY high point of this condo (sort of). The Silver Strike chairlift is just outside it's back door. Although the lift was relatively empty and easy to get on during our extended President's Day week trip, there is additional construction in an already cramped, claustrophobic feeling valley leading to the chairlift. This is overbuilding at it's worst.

Unfortunately, Deer Valley does not have an extensive base camp with multiple restaurants, shops etc. You would need to get in a vehicle and travel to downtown Park City to find that. Looking back, we should have stayed and skied Park City.

In Summary the two Inspirato families involved in this trip have no plans to ever return to any of the Silver Strike Lodge units, nor Deer Valley. The adults were all disappointed by actual adjacent construction status vs. expected construction listed in September email.

Everyone was in agreement, although we enjoyed each others company, and appreciate the Inspirato concierge service, this was our least favorite Inspirato accommodation and location.
