This home is exclusively staffed, managed, and maintained by Inspirato.
No snowboards are allowed at Deer Valley, but they are allowed nearby at The Canyons and Park City Mountain Resorts (these resorts offer half-pipes and terrain features as well).
While Stargazer can comfortably accommodate up to four guests, it encompasses only 1,351 square feet; please be aware that the layout can feel cozier than our other Deer Valley homes.
The Shooting Star Lodge is a collection of private residences and does not provide onsite dining or other amenities beyond what is listed. Nearby options are accessed via the free, on-call shuttle service and include various full-service resort properties as well as historic Main Street Park City.
Please note that there is ongoing construction next to this home with an estimated completion date of August 2025. Construction takes place Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Construction noise will likely be audible during your stay. Please contact your Care team for additional information.

Location

Accessing Deer Valley Resort is quick and convenient. Fly into the Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC), hop in a shuttle or rent a car and arrive at Deer Valley 36 miles later via interstate highways. With hundreds of flights arriving and departing each day, you'll be able to maximize your time in Deer Valley. Many flights arrive before noon, leaving plenty of time to warm up the ski legs in the afternoon. We recommend club partner Avis. Great Stay!

My husband, 13-yr old son, and I had a wonderful summer stay at this Deer Valley condo and would happily return. The property was comfortable, well-maintained, and made for a perfect short mountain getaway.

There was complimentary transportation to and from the condo, which made getting around Deer Valley and Park City incredibly easy without needing to drive or call/wait for an uber. The onsite concierge was also fantastic—friendly, responsive, and always available to help with recommendations or anything we needed during our stay.

While you did need to drive if you wanted to go into Park City, for us, the location was exactly what we were looking for. There are beautiful hiking trails accessible directly from the condo, including a short hike to Silver Lake Village, where we enjoyed a few great dining options.

Overall, this is a lovely place to spend time during the summer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-located mountain retreat.

Great Summer Get Away and a real Pass Day bargain!

This was our first experience at an Inspirato residence and it lived up to and exceeded all of our expectations. This was an off season stay at Deer Valley in a beautiful and well appointed condo. The building was super quiet with private under ground parking and we never ran into any other guests making it feel exclusive to us. Being on the top floor you had a wonderful loft, expansive balcony with a great gas BBQ and high vaulted ceilings inside making the place feel even larger. We were impressed with all of the extra appointments like folding chairs for outdoors and a big cooler to take out on picnics or while watching the shows over at the Olympic park (don't miss it). We also appreciated all of the extra emergency equipment in the closets like the emergency ladder for outside and water storage if there was ever trouble. Obviously this place is perfect for winter skiing but we found so many things to do and see during the summer which were pointed out by our wonderful concierge who was very responsive and proactive in her tips and recommendations. Park City is wonderful with its shops, great restaurants and Sunday market and the hiking and excursions around the area will offer you many options. Beyond the Olympic Park, don't miss Mirror Lake, Bridal Falls, Sundance and the High West Distillery tour. We can highly recommend this home and found it also to be a great bargain using Pass Days in the off season.

Very Nice Unit

This unit is very nice. It is very well appointed and stocked with all the necessities one would need for a comfortable stay - plus! There are high end appliances and cookware, enough seating for all, nice lotions and soaps, washer and dryer and a spacious feeling to the unit due to the high ceilings. We loved the attention to detail in this unit which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Cooper, our concierge, was also very helpful and available.

My only complaint would be the couch - ultra low and soft, which made it so uncomfortable. The unit is also in an area with just other condos so a 10-15 minute drive is required to eat, shop, etc.

Overall, an awesome place with great service from Inspirato.

First Family Ski Trip with Inspirato

We are a family for 4! - 7 year old and 4 year old - The Ski in and out was amazing and very convenient. The Stargazer was awesome and we loved the unit and especially the beds were super comfortable . - The upstairs loft was great for the kids to play upstairs. Nate the local host was standing in the falling snow waiting for us to arrive it. It made us feel so special to have someone waiting for us. We would defiantly good again . Fantastic first trip , we already booked our next trip

Location difficult for a short trip

We booked this for planned short trip into the area. However, it is located further from the airport and is a solo development with no amenities within walking distance. The free, on demand Empire van service saves this location. They were fast and friendly. However, anything that wasn't in your unit requires a car or the van ride.

If you are going for a week and want to pack in groceries and stay only in Deer Valley, it's a good choice. If you are trying for a quick weekend with no/little cooking the Waldorf at the Park City Canyons is perfect. I was there last year.

This condo is lovely and completely up to Inspirato standards. There is construction on the street but we didn't hear any noise.
