Location

You'll fly into Florence Airport, Peretola (FLR). From the U.S., you'll connect via Paris, London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt or another major European city. (There are also direct flights into Pisa's Galileo Galilei Airport, about 60 miles west of Florence.)

You won't need a car in this destination; in fact, tourists generally can't even drive within the city limits. Fortunately, you'll stay in the heart of the city, where you can walk to many attractions. For something a little farther, such as a trip to Chianti country, your Destination Concierge can arrange for a driver. You'll also be conveniently close to the rail station, and we highly recommend making an easy day trip to Milan, Venice or Rome.

    An Exquisite Property, Perfectly Situated

    Our family of (6) just returned from a magical stay at Foresteria Florentine. This was our first time visiting Florence, and the location and layout of the villa could not have been better. From stepping out of the building door, you are immediately immersed in the heart of Florence and have cafe's, restaurants, wine windows, historical sights, and shopping, all at arm's length

    Sofia, the local Inspirato concierge, did an incredible job of curating an itinerary that provided our family the perfect mix of down time and taking in all of the town's history.

    We had an in-home chef the first evening of our stay, which allowed us to settle in comfortably, and not worry about finding the perfect dinner spot.

    We cannot wait to return!

    Amazing Location & Home

    The home is just as depicted in the pictures. Perfect location for walking to shops, restaurants, piazzas and museums. Concierge services were superb from planning to execution - thank you Valentina & Laura for your excellent service and care for our family! Housekeeping and morning breakfast provided by Raul were fantastic!

    Historic oasis in the heart of Florence

    Our experience at Foresteria Florentine reminded us of why we are Inspirato members. The spacious apartment, provides a unique combination of comfort, grand historical appeal, and a great location. We appreciate the European city apartments, please add more Inspirato.

    Roland planned a perfect four day itinerary for our family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) that incorportated great tours guides, Silvia in Florence and Serena in Siena, while giving us some time to relax and explore on our our. It was very easy and fun to take the bus to Siena for the day. We really enjoyed seeing the well preserved old city and learning more about the history of Siena and Tuscany. The pre-purchased timed tickets he arranged at several of the highlights in Florence allowed us to by-pass huge lines and stay out of the crowds. We were even able to identify the apartment from the top of the Duomo.

    The restaurant reservations Roland made were perfect and necessary as we saw many people being turned away, while we were being escorted to nice tables. The food and ambiance were great at Osteria del Cinghiale Bianco, Ristorante II Santo Bevitore (my favorite), La Compagnia dei Vinattieri (Siena), and La Buchetta. I would recommend them all and we also enjoyed lunch at Mercato Centrale. His planning made our short time time in Florence wonderful, we all loved the city and will be back.

    The highlight of the apartment was Raul. He cooked a lovely breakfast each morning and was so kind and accommodating. He is part of what make this home so special. Sofia was also very kind, helpful and made sure everything went smoothy our entire time.

    A perfect experience in Florence

    The Inspirato Team made this a perfect vacation. My wife and I spent 6 nights in Florence, our first time there. The house over the Arno was incredible and ideally located. Raul kept it in impeccable shape and cooked for us beautiful breakfasts! We did three tours with Silvia and I now know more about Florence than I do about my own hometown. Her knowledge of the city is unmatched! If you need transportation, please ask for Andrea. We could ride and talk with him all day long. What a kind, entertaining man! And, of course, none of this would have happened without the Concierge team, Valentina, Simone, and Andi! These people crafted and executed a perfect vacation for us. Well done Inspirato!! Thank you all!!
