Large resort, great food, great beach

The resort is huge. Some features are unusual and may be great or not so great, depending on personal preferences. While the suit is ocean front and the view is fantastic, it's not anywhere near the beach. They give you a golf cart for the duration of your stay and you drive around in it. This driving by itself was quite fun (it felt like an attraction ride to me), but someone else may not enjoy it. The beach is a 10 minutes golf cart ride from the suite. You ride along the gold course (obviously a huge attraction for someone playing golf) and see breathtaking ocean views, wave at other gold cart-riding families and joggers. The beach club is fantastic: not many people, the pink sand is soft as feathers, the water is clear (when it's not stormy), an infinity pool, and a very good restaurant on the beach - you can eat at the restaurant with spectacular ocean views or have food and drinks delivered to your beach chair. Great service at the beach club. A wonderful restaurant - Island Brasserie. The third restaurant Sul Verde was disappointing - food was so-so, the inside seating was in a very loud room (unpleasant). There's a second small "beach" for watersports, where you can also swim, which is within a walking distance from the suite, but it's mostly for watersports and not for beach lovers. There are multiple pools around the property. The suite was spacious, with two ocean-front balconies and outstanding views, but two fridges were empty (no mini-bar with items for sale). Service at the Reception Desk was great, housekeeping was great, but the Concierge service was very poor - numerous errors and lack of attention. That's the main reason for lower than 5 star rating. Recommendation: don't order a "private car" transportation from the airport and back. It's a regular cab and you just have to wait for it longer than for a taxi that you can hail yourself. Recommendation: definitely take an excursion to Crystal Caves (and probably to Fantasy Caves , but we couldn't go there due to weather). Free snorkeling excursion organized by the hotel was also good. Free "Cocktail Cruise" is an hour long, you get one free drink (and can buy more), and it's in the same boat that takes you snorkeling and around the same places, so if you go snorkeling, then you may skip the Cocktail cruise. People in Bermuda are very nice. A few good restaurants in Hamilton - 20 minutes ride from the hotel.

The Rosewood Hotel on Bermuda was amazing.

Bermuda is a jewel. The turquoise waters, the pink sands, the friendly folks and the wonderful Rosewood Hotel and Spa at Tucker's Point were a delight. This is our 4th time to the island, previously staying at the Fairmont, Southampton. Although we didn't feel we would ever try another hotel, due to renovations and a new owner at the old Fairmont, we decided to try the Rosewood hotel. It is in our opinion our favorite hotel so far on the island. It is smaller, but with a large foot print, so even when the hotel was full, you never had to wait for chairs by the pools or by the ocean. You actually had space between each family group. It was pretty perfect. Food was great, wait staff and hotel staff were all very charming, and the taxi drivers are a wealth of knowledge. Great golf course too, with fantastic views.

Highlight of our trip: a walk along the amazing coast between Warrick Long Beach and Horseshoe Bay (bring sunscreen, towels and water) for all the times you'll stop off and swim in the coves along the way. Also the pontoon boat rental for the day, so we could swim and snorkel, around Kings Point and the Vixen Wreck, and the little islands in the main lagoon. Bring a picnic for the boat, it was such a joy to anchor off the coast and enjoy the view.

At the moment you will need a covid test and vaccination card before you go and a travel authorization from Bermuda. Plus another test upon arrival and at day 4 and 8. But the hotel does complimentary tests for you on day 4 and 8. It really wasn't a problem, and so worth it to keep this island safe so you can enjoy it without concern.

We will go back.
