Small-Town Sophistication 

Home to the oldest inn in the country, the waterfront village of Hampton Bays is situated in the town of Southampton where two charming bays converge. Though just 90 minutes from New York City, the laid-back coastal charm of Hampton Bays feels like a world apart. Offering more waterfront restaurants than any other New York destination, Hampton Bays is also known as a major fishing port. Spend your days lounging at one of the town’s scenic beaches, casting your line, paddle boarding, or visiting the local farmer’s market. During summer months, the 36-acre Good Ground Park features an amphitheater offering free concerts and movies.
