A well-kept secret among in-the-know travelers, Harbour Island is a hidden gem in the Caribbean known for its quiet elegance, refined charm, and pink-sand beaches the color of coral.
We stayed at both homes available through Inspirato at Pink Sands. Both were adorable and well kept. The outside showers were amazing. Pools were not heated but were very nice. Ok for swimming at end of March/early April. Beach was beautiful!!The resort restaurants are great and service is great. Concierge assigned wasn’t the most accessible however someone was always at the front desk and helpful. Must do: golf cart rental, day trip with Da Salty Pig, dinner at The Landing, coffee and donuts from Bluewater Bakery. The island felt safe and everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. Travel was easy, even with a 2 and 6 year old. Spectacular island getaway.

We had a wonderful trip! Pink sands beach has the most perfect pink-hued sand and the water was a perfect carribean bright blue, loved swimming in it. Frangipani Villa is a great accommodation, the only suggestions are the lights in the main gathering room could not be dimmed so add a dimmer switch and recommend more hooks to hang things on in the bathrooms. Nicky was our concierge, she was great with all of our arrangements and requests and she was a wonderful pleasant person to work with! The Landing restaurant was the best on the Island, but the resort restaurant was great also. One of the best dining experiences was the conch salad (much like Cerviche) at Queen Conch delicious and very fresh made from scratch in front of us. Did a land tour of Eluthera Island with Ryan Neilly spanishwellsfishing.com, they do land and water tours, I highly recommend them it was a great experience. The people in Dunmore Town and at the resort were incredibly friendly and nice.

Nice 2 bedrooms but Lime House is better in my opinion, if you're going to bring food bring a non stick pan since the Inspirato pans are horrible. Not much counter space but you can make it work. Pool in the back yard is great to have once you finish at the beach. Beware the electric will go off allot and sometimes hard to get the air-conditioning up to par in the am but at night all is well. Staff (Nicky) is great and the GM is a wonderful person to work with if there is a problem. Go to Queen Conch for Conch & Conch fritters and the Landings is great for anything. It will cost you $15 per person once you exit the plane to grab 2 taxies and 1 ferry ride which is all 5 min each to Harbor Beach Pink Sands. Beach is to die for with the Pink Sands and aqua water to frolic in the water with your best drink in hand.

This was an amazing trip to the Bahamas. Definitely recommend getting a golf cart to travel the island a bit since traveling is quite easy and there's many restaurants to try out. The only issue we encountered was the internet was a bit unreliable throughout the trip. However, from what I hear that is very unusual. During the off season the service can be a bit slower, but for a relaxing trip this was absolutely perfect for us!
