  • This home is staffed, managed, and maintained by our trusted partners at Pink Sands Resort.
  • Please note, Pink Sands Resort is a cashless resort. You will need to pay for any transactions on the property by credit or debit card. Cash gratuity is still accepted.
  • Cars are not available to rent on the island. Golf carts are the island’s main mode of transportation, and you can rent them through the resort for a fee. They’re in high demand; ask your Care team to make reservations for you in advance of your arrival.
  • Laundry services are available for an additional fee.
  • Between August 1-November 15, there may be restaurant and business closures due to hurricane season. Be sure to check availability with your Destination Concierge.
  • Please note that although Frangipani allows for two occupants over the stated occupancy, additional guests do not have their own bathrooms or closets and will share access through Bedrooms 1 and 2.
  • The pool is not heated, but temperatures are typically pleasant year-round.
  • The first grocery shop is complimentary, any additional will incur a 20% service fee.

4 nights at Pink Sands Resort in Harbor Islands

The hotel staff were very accommodating - we pointed out that a very soft-sounding alarm kept going off in the refrigerator, and they comped breakfast for the 4 of us for that! Beaches are beautiful, ocean was spectacular. Friangiapani cottage was clean and comfortable. The island itself is somewhat seedy and hurricane-stricken, with the exception of the resorts and the many restaurants. The locals are friendly and while often the roads are bumpy, driving around in a golf cart was easy and fun!

Amazing beach getaway

We loved everything about our trip to Harbour Island. The villa was lovely, and the beach was spectacular. Dining on the island was fantastic, and we enjoyed having the golf cart we rented. We especially enjoyed a half day on the water with Michael's Cycles and renting a car for a day on Eleuthera.

Great trip highly recommend

We had a wonderful trip! Pink sands beach has the most perfect pink-hued sand and the water was a perfect carribean bright blue, loved swimming in it. Frangipani Villa is a great accommodation, the only suggestions are the lights in the main gathering room could not be dimmed so add a dimmer switch and recommend more hooks to hang things on in the bathrooms. Nicky was our concierge, she was great with all of our arrangements and requests and she was a wonderful pleasant person to work with! The Landing restaurant was the best on the Island, but the resort restaurant was great also. One of the best dining experiences was the conch salad (much like Cerviche) at Queen Conch delicious and very fresh made from scratch in front of us. Did a land tour of Eluthera Island with Ryan Neilly spanishwellsfishing.com, they do land and water tours, I highly recommend them it was a great experience. The people in Dunmore Town and at the resort were incredibly friendly and nice.

Overall Amazing!

This was an amazing trip to the Bahamas. Definitely recommend getting a golf cart to travel the island a bit since traveling is quite easy and there's many restaurants to try out. The only issue we encountered was the internet was a bit unreliable throughout the trip. However, from what I hear that is very unusual. During the off season the service can be a bit slower, but for a relaxing trip this was absolutely perfect for us!

Pink Sands, Harbour Island Bahamas

Harbour Island is a lovely small island that has not been overdeveloped. Hard to find those these days! Many locally owned restaurants, stores and boutique hotels. The food, at the resort and at the many restaurants, was fantastic. Much better than what we was anticipating. Two negatives: The concierge - we never met or heard from him when on property and reservations for activities were not made until the last minute so we weren't able to do all we wanted. The cottage - although cute, it is not up to Inspirato standards. Linens and towels were sun-par, the mattress felt like a brick, and bring your blowdryer! The one provided barely created any breeze. Overall, a lovely getaway but I don't think the friends we brought were all that impressed. The resort next door, The Dunmore, was of a much higher quality than Pink Sands overall.
