Location

The closest airport is Jackson Hole Airport (JAC), approximately 25 miles away, or about a 35- to 40-minute drive. Snake River Sporting Club is located just south of Jackson, Wyoming, about 20 minutes from Jackson Town Square. Due to the property’s expansive, rural setting and access to outdoor recreation areas, a car is recommended for getting around.

Hidden Gem!

Our stay at Sylvan Lodge could not have been more enjoyable. The lodge is tucked away in the Wyoming mountains, resting alongside the Snake River. The property is a sporting club, and though we were not there for fishing, hunting, horseback riding, or hiking, we had four days of fun. The staff could not have been more professional and friendly. They helped us schedule activities such as floating down the river and tram rides to the top of the mountains at the nearby Grand Tetons. Their knowledge of the region was on point, as they gave us excellent advice on how to easily navigate Yellowstone National Park. Highly recommended for adults only as there are very serious sporting people at the lodge. P. S. It’s a very romantic getaway! P. S. S. The food at the clubhouse is five-star!
