Location

Long Beach Island is a popular drive-to destination from many East Coast cities and is accessible by car via the Dorland J Henderson Memorial Bridge. If you’re flying in, the closest airports are Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) at 92 miles away, and Atlantic City Airport (ACY) at 48 miles away. Though the island is pretty bikeable, most people get around by car. We recommend renting a car through Club partner Avis. Perfect Beach House

It doesn't get much better. Amazing beaches of LBI and an outstanding house. Setup is great for large groups and everything in the house was fresh/updated. Literal 100 feet to the beach walk make it a perfect beach getaway. Lots of good spots for dining on the waterfront about a mile away.

Off peak at the beach

The house is fabulous and even the great pictures don’t do it justice. While it is not directly on the beach, it is just a few houses away with no street to cross (closer than I thought from the map). You can also see the water from multiple places in the house: from The gorgeous, huge rooftop deck, two side balconies, a kitchen window and from the living room couch. I appreciated that the bedrooms and bathrooms were of modest size and the communal spaces on the 2nd and 3rd floors were the focus. (Note, the trash /recycle truck comes early and 4 times a week so be prepared for some noise if you are in the front 2nd floor bedroom. We were there the first week of may and it was sadly rainy and crazily windy, so it was too cold for the cute small pool and too windy (seriously 30 mph gusts) for the deck most of the time but the other more protected areas and the large open space (kitchen, dr, lr) 3rd floor was an enjoyable place to hang out. I still walked the beach each day and walked to the Acme grocery a few blocks away though you can pay for grocery service through Inspirato. While I prefer to walk, the majority of the restaurants required driving as it is in between where some large groups of restaurants are. Tom was a great concierge. Keeping in touch but not excessively. Friendly and helpful. I suggested a few kitchen items and maybe some weights/workout items but overall the house is well stocked and spacious since there appeared to be no gyms nearby. Would definitely return!

Short but sweet trip

We had a nice 70th birthday celebration with my mom and sister plus some family. It was also the kite festival which was quite amazing. House is adorable and steps from the ocean. Views from top deck are 360 seeing bay and beach with tables and fire pits up there. I don't usually write reveiws, but I want to mention our concierge Tom who went out of his way for our trip. He was also instrumental in getting us off the island in time before the storm heading our way by giving us updates into the evening and early in the morning concerned for our safety. We ended up taking an early flight to leave we missed the "Noreaster" thank goodness because apparantly it got pretty bad after we left. He also left a nice treat for my mom's birthday!

Birthday Beach Celebration

Great house in wonderful location just a short walk from an outstanding beach. The rooftop deck was amazing for nightly sunset views and a great place to drink coffee in the morning. Jodi, the planner, was excellent with all of our requests including a helicopter ride to NYC for the day and Andie, the destination concierge, made sure we were taken care of daily and getting the house decorated for the surprise birthday! We will be back.

Jersey Shore the right way

As a long time resident of NJ, "going to the shore" was always a regular summer trip. Lugging the linens, beach equipment and groceries was always a chore. Lillie gave us the opportunity to open the door and walk into a beautiful, practical home, with only our luggage and four in from the beach. Everything was clean and in order. The Concierge was responsive. The sunsets on the rooftop deck were gorgeous. The NJ shore is a unique culture unlike most other resorts. Beach Haven is one of the nicer towns with commercialization localized in one area. There is even a free beach taxi service for a ride to the beach if the dunes are too difficult for the mobility challenged. I wish there were more properties available in this area, preferably on the beach and with a few more decks for relaxing. We were a family of seven during the visit. All enjoyed the customary Inspirato comforts.
