Location

Fly into Nashville International Airport (BNA). Virtually all major airlines are accessible. The best way to get around Nashville is by car. Neighborhoods and attractions stretch from one end of the city to the other. It’s not likely that you’d be able to see everything on foot. Club partner Avis and your concierge are happy to assist with a rental car.

Nashville Fun

I just returned from a girls weekend in Nashville. We stayed at the Thompson, which was absolutely perfect. The room was very nice and beds were super comfortable. The location is in the Gulch which is the shopping area. It's a quick Uber ride to the action. We liked that it was in the quieter section. The rooftop bar was amazing and I highly recommend you go there.

We did not eat at the hotel but did go to the coffee place. That was fine for coffee and a muffin if you are in a rush. The real treat is to go to Love Biscuit, just down the block, for an authentic southern breakfast. Go early - there is a line . AND have the Bonuts, they are amazing!

Nashville is all about eating, drinking, music and more drinking! Places you should absolutely check out for dinner are Etch and the Twelve Thirty supper club. You need to make reservations ahead of time for dinner because these places book up fast. For lunch, go to Hattie B's for Nashville's famous Hot Chicken. Yummy!

Broadway is where all the action is. It's wall to wall bars, clubs and restaurants. We really enjoyed Kid Rock's bar, the main floor definitely has the best bands. We had a blast with Karaoke at Wanna Bs.. I even got up on that stage!LOL! We went to Aldean's, the first floor has a country band but if you go to the top floor- its an all out club scene! Needless to say my daughter and niece loved that, but my sister and I opted for the country band floor. We learned how to line dance at the Wildhorse Saloon. You should call and find out when they do the class, it's free and a lot of fun! Note-- all of these places card everyone regardless of age so make sure you bring your ID or you will not get into any place.

For attractions we went to the Johnny Cash Museum, the Farmer's Market and Country Music Hall of Fame. We also did the Hop On Hop Off bus- which was great because you see all the sights and can get on and off as much as you want. These excursions were all fun.

The girls really wanted to do the Tavern Bike, which is essentially a party bike that you drink on...look it up online. I was dreading it, but it was actually a ton of fun.

Lastly, we did check out some of the murals around town. Our favorite was in walking distance from the hotel. It is the angel wings. We loved taking pictures in front of it.

Nashville is definitely a fun place and a destination to visit.
