1 Hotels are Gorgeous

We've stayed at both 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge and 1 Hotel Central Park and they have similar vibes that are incredible. I cannot get enough of the industrial look mixed with nature and plants everywhere. The color scheme and interior decor was what I would want if I were to build my dream home. The views from our suite were gorgeous- but not as stunning as the views from Harriet's Lounge at sunset. That would be a MUST DO recommendation...but make sure you reserve a table..the standing room by the bar was very crowded and tiny...and you can't see the sunset from bar.

The surrounding neighborhood is fun too...lots to walk around and see...the DUMBO area very cool and fun. We came in the winter and will be returning in the warmer months to enjoy the rooftop and surrounding areas more.

Great view and that's about it

Long story short, the view is great and the hotel is new but unfortunately, the walls are paper thin and everything is built pretty shoddily. We could hear the party next door well into the evening and when it picked up again early in the morning. There were several opportunities for the hotel to address our issues during the stay but management and staff provided very poor customer service and responses. Please save your money and do not stay here.

Brooklyn’s Waterfront Oasis

It was my first experience at a 1 Hotel property and it was more than I expected. The staff, room and service were great and I enjoyed a room service dinner as well. I was so obsessed with the smell that was wafting throughout the property that I purchased the candles to remember once I got home. The scent is so fresh and divine. I usually stay in midtown and decided to head over to Brooklyn to try this hotel and it did not disappoint. The room and rooftop views of the Manhattan skyline are amazing and transportation was easy for me via ferry or the hotel’s Tesla service. I will definitely be visiting again.

confession: we live down the street from the hotel and just needed a little get away from our kids:) the hotel is gorgeous, rooms are beautiful, staff is great. I got a great massage at the spa. Am now planning a girls weekend there I loved it that much
