Location

Inspirato SoHo at The Dominick is located approximately 40 minutes from any of the three major New York airports: LaGuardia (LGA), John F. Kennedy (JFK), or Newark (EWR). Travelers from East Coast cities such as Boston, Providence, New Haven, or the Washington D.C. areas can also travel by train to Penn Station, which is only two miles from the hotel. We do not recommend driving in New York; the city’s extensive public transportation system and abundance of taxis make getting around without a car easy. Even better, your hotel is located in the heart of Lower Manhattan with endless restaurants, shops, galleries, and activities within walking distance, and an easy cab or subway ride to world-famous New York locales Times Square, Broadway, Central Park, Wall Street, and the One World Trade Center.

Dominick Hotel re: room titles

This room is actually two rooms connected by a small separate foyer space. It is not the room where there are two rooms connected to the living room. What is perplexing to me is that it seems like the way Inspirato names these rooms is pretty misleading. Even though they have different names, they are the exact same room. This room is less appealing if you have people who want their rooms to be connected to eachother--you have to go through a separate foyer (with very heavy doors) to get to eachother's rooms. Last month we stayed at the room called Greenwich So-Hi. It was room 3708 and 3709. This last week we stayed at the room called Broadway So-Hi and it was room 3708 and 3709....same exact rooms even though they are listed as different! The room we like does not have a connecting separate entry way but is the one with two rooms off one living room. I don't know how to specify that one. The photos of these rooms look exactly alike but the rooms are not alike just so you know. I don't know how Inspirato books these and names these, but the corner rooms with the numbers shown would not be good for a family who has kids in the other bedroom. It might be good for two couples who want more privacy, but one of the rooms has the living room and the other room is just a regular hotel room.

That said, the hotel is located in a great spot, especially for EWR airport because it's fairly near the Holland Tunnel, and great for visiting Soho, and friends/kids in Brooklyn.

Trip to New York with our Grand Kids

Fantastic Location & Views

This was my second stay at the Dominick, and I can't recommend it enough. The suites were extremely comfortable, the pool was a fantastic amenity, and you're guaranteed an amazing view.

All in a hip SoHo location, to boot.

Inspirato at the Dominick

We loved our "girls trip" staying at the Dominick in SOHO in the two bedroom suite. Our room had fabulous views from the 33rd floor looking right towards the Empire State building. The room included 2 wonderful living areas. One was larger where we gathered to have a glass of wine and "fashion show" our finds during the day. There are fabulous restaurants close by and wonderful shopping in SOHO. Highly recommend.
