  • Cancellation policy: Reservations canceled less than 72 hours prior to arrival will be charged for the full reservation cost. Should the guest fail to arrive by 5 a.m. EST on the day after the arrival date of the reservation, the booking will be deemed a no-show. No-show reservations are subject to a penalty of 100% room and tax per reservation. All refunds will be issued in the form of Travel Credits.

Location

1 Hotel Central Park is located in the heart of New York City, about a 45-minute drive from LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and about an hourlong drive from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). From both airports, a taxi or private limo is recommended. Please note, a taxi will not take more than four people.

Traffic is constant and parking fees are expensive, so we recommend either taking a taxi, public transportation or reserving a private car while you're in the city.

Great location

Great location. The hotel staff was outstanding. The restaurant is fun and different. We will go back.

Inspirato intelligence was lacking.

They shut the restaurant down the first day we were there which was very inconvenient. I really think the Inspirato folks should have known that was going to happen. We had 5 rooms!

A solid stay

1 Hotel Central Park is an environmentally sensitive hotel with amazing attention to detail. The rooms are smaller than normal, but typical for New York. The staff is attentive, and my room had a lovely view of Central Park.

I would stay there again. My only reason for a 4 star review is the value for the money. I made a mental comparison to the Four Seasons and the Ritz-Carlton, and I must say that in terms of value for the dollar, things are close, but I would favor the Ritz.

On the other hand, it was a great experience and I can definitely recommend 1 Hotel Central Park.

1Hotel is a great hotel and conveniently located. The concierge is attentive and the entire staff is friendly and super helpful. The focus of the hotel is sustainability and has views of the Park from the 'Park King'. If you need a ride in a 10 block radius they have a Tesla at your disposal to give you a ride.
