Location

Hotel Regina is 16 miles from Charles de Gaulle International Airport (CDG). To sightsee around Paris, you can walk, take a cab, or use the city's robust public transportation system, called the Metro. The closest Metro stop to the hotel is Palais-Royal-Musée du Louvre Station. You can also rent a car, but parking and traffic in the center of the city can be difficult.

Hotel Regina - Paris, FR

The property is spectacular. We had a family suite, which was perfect for two adults and a 10-year old. It would also be perfect with two kids, as it has a separate bedroom with bunkbeds. Service at the Regina is top shelf, and the location cannot be beat - the Louvre is a stone's throw away, and every major Paris landmark is within walking distance. We did a guided city tour and a guided tour of the Musee d'Orsay, as well as the guided option to get to the top of the Eiffel Tower. All are highly recommended. This was a perfect trip at a perfect location.

Great location in Paris!

We just enjoyed three nights in a Junior Suite (#419) that had an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower from the (narrow) balcony that was just off the sitting area of the room. The location of the hotel can't be beat -- it is literally across the street from the Louvre! Our room was quite spacious and well kept with mostly antique furnishings. The bathroom is very large and retains its original charm. The shower was a bit difficult to use and not the easiest to enter and exit and the design of the tub/shower combination with (only) a partial glass panel resulted in water escaping onto other parts of the bathroom. An update to the bathroom would make the room a lot more desirable. The breakfast that was included each morning of our stay was fantastic -- featuring an extensive buffet of breakfast pastries, breads, fruit, charcuterie and cheeses as well as eggs cooked to order or pancakes and both hot and cold (non-alcoholic) beverages. The staff in the breakfast room were pleasant and attentive. Unfortunately, during our stay, there was construction going on either within or perhaps just adjacent to the hotel which began quite early each day of our stay waking us up prematurely. The noise was loud and continuous and we felt the need to leave the hotel property in order to escape it. I would recommend asking if this construction will still be ongoing at the time of your stay before booking. (I, myself, would not stay there again if the construction was still ongoing.) Overall, we liked the hotel and the location, but the bathroom (and construction noise) might lead us to stay elsewhere on our next visit to Paris.

Historic hotel, well maintained

the Regina is in a great location across the street from the Louvre. Staff is friendly and attentive and room was a good size with a living room and separate area with desk,

I could do without the wall to wall carpeting in hall ways and the room but everything was very clean and well maintained

Great trip with the help of Inspirato and Bespoke

We just spent 10 days in Paris, Provence ( Aix-en-Provence ), gourdes and Nice and had a unforgetable trip. We worked with Inspirato and Bespoke to curate a perfect trip with wonderful accomodations, food and personalized iteneraries with private drivers and guides. We stayed at the Inspirato Hotel Regina for 3 nights to start off our trip. It was a perfect location to get to many of the top sites and the staff was very attentive. Great room with a view of the Eiffel tower and the seasonal ferris wheel.
