The Nolinski is located near all the major sites - Louvre, Garnier Opera House, Musée d'Orsay, and Notre-Dame. The Eiffel Tower and Champs-Élysées, which also hosts the Arc de Triomphe, are not far. The Ritz, and Cafe Les Deux Margot, Cafe De Flore, and Palace Vendome are also very close. The Pyramids metro is right outside the front door. I would rate the hotel itself a 4.5 - 4.7 out of 5. The lobby and the elevators are incredibly dark. It was nearly impossible to see the floor number buttons in the elevator. The front desk service was very good, but the room service and housekeeping were completely consistent. One day, our room was made up, but we were left with no towels or bathrobes. The housekeepers had literally thrown all of our stuff in the bathroom on the floor. The other days, they forgot to take trash and didn't take away glasses or service trays. I had to call housekeeping multiple times for missing items. Breakfast in the hotel was very good - better than any cafe we visited. The croissants and breads, eggs, juices, etc were fantastic. Dinner was also very good (a few nights, we were just too tired to go back out); however, on every occasion, there were things missing - ice, sugar for coffee, glasses for water, lemons that had been requested, silverware. The room was oddly shaped and had a very small bathroom with one sink and shower and another smaller bathroom with a toilet. The "living room" was a decent size but honestly quite useless. We ended up staying an extra night in a Deluxe room, not a suite, and although overall is was smaller, it has a better view (street view) and a large bathroom with 2 sinks, tub, shower, and toilet. The king bed was lovely and there were a wall of windows. I would have rather have stayed in that room and used less pass days. However, the room we were in was fine. Be aware that the sinks are less than an inch and a 1/2 deep and water gets everywhere. On the positive side, the showers were easy to regulate and had both hand held and rain options and didn't leak out! The robes, slippers and towels are also nice, as well as the bed linens. I would definitely stay here again. I would highly recommend private walking tours if you go. We did one through the neighborhoods, one of the big sites and one for the museums so we could actually get through them in a reasonable amount of time. Make sure you get front of line passes for any sights as well. Happy to share tour guides, restaurants and other information if you'd like. We used Uber and the Metro to get around. I was also advised that there is a less expensive version of Uber called "Bolt" but we didn't try it. For those looking to shop Luxury Brands - make sure you call ahead to see if you need an appointment. For example, Hermes requires an appointment to look at their handbags and they are hard to get; these stores also close earlier than they say due to capacity limits in the stores. It was a great trip! @inspirato: There are so many wonderful hotels for more than 2, 4 or more family members, and I hope Inspirato looks into adding a few other options in the same area.
