Location

First, you’ll fly into Athens International Airport (ATH). From there, you can decide if you’d like to take a domestic flight to Paros or take the ferry. The closest airport to fly into on Paros is New Paros (PAS), roughly a 30-minute drive from the hotel. Paros is not a very large island so you can get around through local transportation, however if you want the flexibility to explore the island on your own, we recommend renting a car through Club partner Avis.

Gorgeous Island! Hotel is nice, but not stunning

Paros island is fabulous, and well worth a visit. The Parilio Hotel was lovely and the staff were wonderful! There are just a few things we feel that other visitors should know before visiting.

1. The location is not great. There are no sweeping ocean views (you can see the water by standing on your toes), and the surrounding area is scruffy and under construction. This means the environment around the hotel is basically dirt and empty shells of buildings - kind of depressing. The hotel itself is an oasis of beauty, but just be prepared that you won't experience the feel of a Katikies Chromata or Katikies Mykonos.

2. This is such a small thing, but think it's worth mentioning. I had laundry done by the hotel. It was expensive (I expect this), but my laundry came haphazardly folded, shoved in a plastic bag, and a day late. Other hotels do a fabulous job: everything is on hangers, beautifully pressed for the price paid.

On the upside, the staff are wonderful, attentive and gave great recommendations for dining and activities on Paros! Breakfast was top-notch, and they even bring to your room if you prefer. Dinner at Mr. E's was incredible, and the open design and feel of the property is lovely. Hotel shuttle drives to and from restaurants in Noussa were free, yay! A rare thing in Greece. The spa was very nice and prices for treatments were reasonable.

Just be prepared for the non-scenic views, and you'll be pleased with Parilio.

Beautiful (Remote) Property

Parillio is a lovely property; generous rooms, amazing pool, good service. The rooms do not offer a view of anything which we found disappointing. Also, the property is 10-15 minutes outside of Naoussa so you will need a car, or pay the hotel for transfers to town, restaurants, beaches.
