Cancellation policy: The Standard Inspirato Cancellation Policy applies for this property. Please note the Peak Reservation policy applies for Christmas and New Year’s weeks and certain other travel dates.
Maximum occupancy: Up to two additional guests are permitted over the stated occupancy at no fee. Additional guests are accommodated on twin sofa beds located in media room.

Location

You'll fly into Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR). Real del Mar is approximately an hour from the airport. Several airlines offer direct flights from major U.S. cities.

You can arrange a rental car in advance through Club partner Avis. Your Destination Concierge is also happy to help. We recommend exploring the nearby towns, though your concierge can arrange for transportation if you prefer.

Great family getaway

We loved Casa Alba for our family of four + au pair. Absolutely perfect layout; would also be excellent for a family where the kids want to bring friends (two bedrooms each have double beds).

Specifically, it was so nice that the bedrooms are separated from the living space/kitchen. It meant we could sleep in even while having the fab breakfast service, or that adults could stay up while kids were sleeping with no issue.

As others have noted, the RDM Beach Club is perfection. Great layout, shade, pool/beach access, and the food was terrific and very reasonably priced.

The prefect place to unplug and unwind!

Nice Location - Dated House

This was our first visit to Real del Mar and we had a good time. The staff and concierge were excellent, and we had chef's prepare meals on three nights which were all great. Casa Alba is a bit dated and could use some work. The pool area is small, and because the house is on a hillside there are a lot of stairs and doors, so it is not appropriate for those with mobility issues. It does have easy access to a small beach club which we enjoyed. There is a decent gym and spa, and the beach is clean and safe for swimming. Overall a fun location, but the house itself was below the standards we usually experience from Inspirato Mexico homes.

Great beach club!

The architecture of the home is not my favorite but typical for villas in this area of Mexico. Indoor/Outdoor living where the bedrooms are separated from the main living areas of the home. When its hot and humid this can be annoying. Some will complain about some small maintenance issues like missing tiles in the pool, older doors and windows etc., but to me it is a timeless Mexico look of tile, wood and glass. The beach club is one of the better one's I have been to and the private beach is great and very swimmable. I enjoyed being 25 minutes from Sayulita, 15 minutes from Punta de Mita, close to other small towns but out of the craziness of downtown Puerta Vallarta. Very safe and quite gated community. Staff was great as always. Isrrael was my concierge.

Great time with family

This was our family's third trip to the Punta de Mita area. We have loved it every time! We have a family of five (three girls 13, 14, 19) and took two of their friends. We love Real del Mar for the houses, Beach Club, and proximity to beach towns and restaurants. We always go to the local fish market to cook at home once or twice, eat at the Beach Club daily, and go to Punta Mita and Sayulita for restaurants and shopping. Wonderful trip and has definitely gotten easier as our girls have gotten older!
