Beautiful hotel in stunning town

The Rosewood is beautiful and the service is impeccable. Our room was huge with a really pretty terrace, where we had dinner one evening. The view from the bar/restaurant at the top of the hotel is stunning. The spa there is also very good. We did a walking tour of the town which was great - through Viator - as well as a tour of the nearby pyramid, Cañada de la Virgen, through Albert Coffee tours, that was also fantastic. If you are not fluent in Spanish, and get a driver to/from Mexico City make sure to ask for one with some English speaking capabilities, so you get some history of the area and get to the right destination.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed

We have stayed at many elegant hotels globally and this is one of the best. The service was exceptional and friendly, the hotel was so well-done and maintained, the Spa was fantastic, the food was outstanding, our room was so comfortable and quiet, it was close to everything, and it's is beautiful place.

Rosewood hotel in San Miguel de Allende

Recently returned from a short stay in San Miguel de Allende (Mexico) and it was so fun and the Rosewood Hotel was so wonderful! It is a resort with pools, tennis courts and lovely courtyards right in the middle of the city. Staff was very accommodating and the suite was beautiful! On the rooftop with a supersized patio.

San Miguel is a colorful old colonial town with cobblestone streets. There are lots of art galleries (Casa Diana is the best) and shops (we bought beautiful linen shirts at Diva) and restaurants (The Restaurant and Artio are good!). Very walkable city.. And we felt very safe. Everyone wore masks outside, there were sanitation "sprays" when you entered the town squares, and the airport had very strict controls. Totally recommend!
