The closest major airport is Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ), which is 70 miles away. Santa Fe Regional Airport (SAF) also offers service from a few regional cities including Denver, Phoenix, and Dallas; it’s located just 15 miles from the hotel. There is much to see and do in the Santa Fe area, so we recommend renting a car through Club partner Avis. Slowing down with lots to do!

Hubby and I took a last minute trip to Santa Fe - and loved everything about it. There were plenty of things to do in the surrounding area and at Bishop's Lodge resort.

The town of Santa Fe itself is a foodie's heaven - great food everywhere. The art scene is alive and thriving. History is right at your fingertips. But maybe the best part is the slower pace that really forces you to slow down and enjoy life. We didn't have enough time to experience everything.

Bishop's Lodge was beautiful. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The resort offers shuttle service into town throughout the day as well as for dinner. So, no need to worry about parking or enjoying a cocktail and then driving the winding roads. The drivers were outgoing and offered loads of suggestions on where to eat, what to see and what was happening in town.

Plenty of activities offered throughout the week on the resort that were complimentary - in addition to activities with a fee (horseback riding, spa etc).

Love our time there and hope to get back soon!

Beautiful resort

This place is beautiful and the resort property is spread out (think golf cart ride from your car/check in up to the room. This particular room has an amazing view, with no people in sight (except for your neighbors). Patio is ground floor and not closed in (good to know ahead of time if you're taking your dog). It would be nice if a table was added to the patio for setting your drinks/in-room-dining (there is no table in the room either). Bathroom is very spacious. Room is very nice. There is an ajoining door to a King room with a larger patio and table, if you're inspired to spread out. The pool was very pleasant - low key, nice setting, great service. Kids (7 and 10) had a great time playing with other kids. We'd love to go back - very relaxing trip!

Best hotel ever!

Bishops Lodge never disapoints. We've stayed here many times and loved every time. The service is excellent, great food at the restaurant and no matter what season it is truly beautiful.
