great place

The overall experience was spectacular. This was my second time to stay in the ref house on scrub Island. I love the location of the house and I love scrub Island. I love the location of the island in relation to the airport and the short shuttle across the bay.

The staff representing Inspirato is phenomenal. The arrival was great and the departure was great and anything we needed was handled efficiently and promptly. So the staff handled everything great.

The house is a bit dated. The setting on the side of that cliff is spectacular and there's no denying the views are absolutely world class. The interior of the house is dated and some of the appliances need attention immediately. The refrigerator works fine, but the freezer drawers were broken, and one of them was unusable. Inside the drawers were disgusting. There were brown and yellow stains and it was uncomfortable to even put a bag of ice in there. I just think it doesn't fit the status of the house having an appliance that worn down.

The dishwasher also needs some attention. It just seems to be worn out and flimsy and old. The bottom drawer is all over the place and difficult to manage.

There were holes in the curtains in the master bedroom. And they were difficult to slide open and close. They just need some maintenance on the sliding mechanism.

Overall, again, the house is spectacular. It just needs some TLC. And I really strongly believe the refrigerator and dishwasher need replaced. I am coming back to the same house in mid July to celebrate my honeymoon. I would love to see these items address before then. I know it's an island and it's difficult to manage improvements, but I think these things need attention.

Amazing couples trip!

We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Reef house was more than spacious enough for our group of 4(could easily sleep 8 with enough privacy for all). May not be the best for young families due to having the bedrooms spread out and stairs to access. Design of the entire house was impressive including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and outdoor lounge area with infinity pool. Indoor and outdoor common areas were easily accessible from all bedrooms, yet privacy is maintained. Clean as a whistle, and AC seemed to work well throughout. The property had amazing views and a secluded feel, though you are a short walk or cart ride from the main hub. The resort was not overly crowded, but had lots of activities and areas to explore/snorkel. Resort ferry service to Trellis Bay and Dive BVI day trips offered convenient ways to check out the other islands without booking a private charter. Murali and the concierge team provided exceptional service and made us feel as if we were the most important people on the island. Communication was prompt and follow up was excellent to ensure our requests were met. This really made our trip go smoothly. Would say that individuals who have a difficult time with stairs/steep inclines may have trouble here, but we didn’t mind it. The only minor inconveniences we had were minimal cooking utensils and inability to use/figure out the house WiFi(resort wifi worked fine) and surround sound technology/sound bars. Overall, 10/10 and would highly recommend for couples.

Relaxing yet fun

We stayed in Reef House which has 4 beautiful bedrooms; 2 are on the main floor and the other two were either up a flight of outside stairs or down a flight of outside stairs. We liked this arrangement because it gave us all some extra privacy. Our concierge, Murali was fantastic!!!! He was attentive but not overbearing. I celebrated my birthday while we were there and when my son and daughter asked to have champagne and fruit sent to the room, he had my room decorated with balloons and rose petals with a towel cake on the bed; he truly went above and beyond. Actually the entire staff was great. We also must give a huge thank you to Kane our destination planner who not only planned a fantastic boat trip for u but answered all my questions quickly. Kane was one of the best Destination planners we have worked with! We would definitely recommend using Vern with Island Time boating. We did an 8 hour full day Island hoping tour with him which he planned with us. Would also recommend taking the public ferry to Virgin Gorda to visit the Baths.

AMAZING Expierience

Kane, our planning concierge was top notch. He was patient and was able to navigate planning for our group of 8 friends. The Reef house was perfect for our needs. Each room was private and had ensuite restrooms, but one. All rooms had beautiful views of the stunning sea. Transportation around the island was easy and the butler service saw to our every need. The ferry system was timely and quick! The restaurants on the island were good. We never had a bad meal, nor cocktail. The spa services were a little pricey, but some of the best we have had. We had ordered groceries which were delivered to our house. This process was easy, and the quality was good. The house had sufficient cookware for us to make breakfasts and such. We have decided that we will go back another time! :)

Everything you could want on one island!

Make certain that you book a Wednesday as that is the day they have a beach party at North Shore Beach next to One Shoe Bar.

Marina Cay is a great place with live music on certain days. We polished our dancing skills here!! The dinner menu here was the best! The beach was also the best!

The butler/concierge, Sadiqui, was amazing. Some of the planners events did not get communicated to the staff on Scrub Island and the butler was able to get almost everything corrected for us.
