Location

Sedona Airport (SEZ) is the closest option to the resort at just under 9 miles away, but is a very small, private airstrip. The closest major airport is Phoenix Sky Harbor International (PHX), which is approximately 126 miles away. We recommend renting a car through club partner Avis. Inspirato members receive exclusive benefits through the invitation-only Avis President’s Club.

Dream Trip

The 2BR villa is huge- Easily would sleep 8 people. We went to many of the workout classes and complimentary learning classes. The stargazing is a MUST. So many great restaurants on site. The spa and hiking right on the property made for such a perfect week

Great winter stay

My wife and I just got done a 3 night weekend stay at Enchantment Resort in Sedona and we had a great time. The weather was great in low 60s in day and 30 at night. Upon arrival we were taken care of and actually got checked into our room with no issues and 4 hours early. The room was as advertised as junior king with good space throughout. Comfy bed and nice fire for cooler nights. Bathroom spacious with great big shower and separate tub and double vanity. Resort overall was great as we used resort pool along with spa at Mii Amo and had great massages and lunch. We ate at both Mii Gavo and Che ah Chi and they were both great with excellent service and food to match. Did some of the stargazing at night and that was super. Trail house Had great hike recommendations and trails were fun and relaxing. Off season so not too crowded but just right.

Enchantment

The resort's location is stunning, but the hotel itself looks a bit worn and struggled with some service issues due to staffing shortages. There are some newer buildings which are nice - Mii Amo and the Trailhouse. But the hotel room was dated. We had dinner both nights on property: Tii Gavo and Che Ah Chi which were great despite some staffing issues. Beautiful hiking nearby,

Stunning Views and Location

Beautiful grounds and views, especially from the pool. Service was outstanding. It was so hot while we were there, appreciated the ice machines and water stations around the resort (very spread out). Also, because of the red rock/dust that we collected on our tours having complementary laundry (self serve) was awesome, even included detergent. The room was very large, with lots of closets and storage space for luggage and things. Can access hikes direct from the resort- beautiful hikes, lots of animal encounters. A couple nits.... It seems Inspirato gets the least desirable rooms in the hotel partners. We overlooked the employee parking. The dining options were lovely but so expensive- we didn't eat dinner at the restaurants because of that. We did enjoy drinks and snacks at the pool as a splurge. Finally, not fans of the constant "marco-polo" in the pool with the kids. the pool is so beautiful and adult-like, they might consider a kids pool to keep the atmosphere to match the pools vibe.

Enchantment Resort

We (mom, sister and I) stayed at Enchantment for 4 nights to celebrate my mom's 75th birthday. The resort is wonderful - lovely accommodations, excellent food, great service. We stayed in a two bedroom casita in a great location - far up the canyon which maximized our views.

Restaurants we ate at included Humingbird (at Mii Amo which is a resort next door to Enchantment), Che Ah Chi (on property), Mariposa (in Sedona), and Cress on Oak Creek (at L'auberge resort in Sedona). We loved all of them with Cress on Oak Creek being our favorite - ask for a table by the creek.

For activities we hiked Soldier Pass to the caves (too steep at the end for my mom) and Fay Canyon (very flat). I also went mountain biking one morning with a private guide. I am a beginner and loved having the 1:1 instruction and encouragement. My mom was supposed to join us, but decided her knee wasn't up to it, which was best in retrospect. We enjoyed sitting by the pool each afternoon and participated in a watercolor class one day. I recommend it! We also visited Tlaquepaque (arts village) - it was nice to visit the shops for about an hour before we went to dinner at Cress on Oak Creek.

One item of note - we wanted to book multiple spa treatments at Mii Amo but was told nothing was available despite it being many months before our stay. When we arrived, we learned that Mii Amo is totally separate from Enchantment (despite being behind the same gate). Mii Amo's guests are given priority for treatments. Ultimately, we were put on a waitlist and two of the three of us were able to get a treatment each on our last day. They were worth the wait, but we would have liked to have done more.
