Great Place

The resort is very well located, the cabins are cozy and well-appointed, and the creek flowing by the property is beautiful. Staff was fantastic, for the most part. And the Duck Pond pool was great.

Fitness facilities are small and basic, but you can make up for that with hiking. Strongly suggest a night hike with Trail Lovers - ask for Conner. The Verde Valley train is a nice experience, and make sure to carve out time for the haunted town of Jerome. Haunted Hamburger is a great place to grab lunch. In Sedona, recommend The Hudson for dinner and Creek Side Restaurant for breakfast.

Only downside of L'Auberge is they are not shy with their food/drink prices. A french press which yielded 2 cups of coffee, together with a single muffin set us back $25 before tax and tip. Limited our onsite consumption to snacks and drinks at the pool, and a late night Sambuca at the bar.

Loved Sedona!

This place was amazing! We enjoyed staying in a Creekside Cottage, overlooking Oak Creek. Our cottage had a hot tub (only one on property) on the deck, comfortable outdoor seating, a working “real” wood fireplace inside, and a nice large room with outdoor shower. The food at Cress on Oak Creek was fabulous. We both enjoyed filets one evening, which were out of this world. The breakfast each morning was also great. The omelettes and coffee were very good, and even the coffee in the room was delicious. Great service, staff was exceptional, and housekeeping was over the top. Did not use the spa, but the pool was very nice. Overall stay was lovely. Great hiking around town, exceptional restaurants (Mariposa, Cress on Oak Creek (on site), Elote Cafe, and Agave 89 were wonderful!). Would definitely visit again.

L'Auberge Sedona on Oak Creek

Really enjoyed the tree lined, shaded seclusion just off the the main road. Glad I choose the creekside option, a highlight was sitting on the porch listening to the water. I've stayed at Enchantment, if deciding between the two- Enchantment is great for golf and the spa (currently closed for renovations) is superior. L'Auberge gets my vote though for the location, creek side setting (maybe because I live in dry Vegas) and more intimate, fairytale setting. Sedona is just beautiful, recommend Crescent Moon State park, Buddha Beach is a pretty, short trail with plenty of river wading/ swimming and great views (avoid the parking hassle and the crowds at Slide Rock).
