Dromoland Castle is 19 miles northwest of Limerick. The closest major airport is Shannon Airport (SNN), about 11 miles away. Most international flights will land in Dublin International Airport (DUB), at which point you can catch a connecting flight or make the 145-mile drive to Dromoland Castle. amazing and unique location

service was off the charts from top to bottom from the moment we drove up to the entrance to the time we departed.


golf course on site is excellent although not classic links style. it is where they play the irish women's open every year.

we rented a car and this was a great location for a day trip to cliffs of moher and teh barren...and you dont have to stay in a big city...to me it is worth it if you want to relax and be about 40 minutes away from Galway and not have to put up with city traffic and the hustle and bustle. can also drive around Connemara or get to the aran islands easily in a day.

falconry locally is about hour and half experience and super unique and interesting.

loved it..if we can get back this is one of the places we will return
