Location

We recommend arriving via Santa Rosa Sonoma County Airport (STS), just a 30-minute to a one-hour drive from Vintner’s Cottage. You can also fly into San Francisco International Airport (SFO) or Oakland International Airport (OAK). The drive from either of these airports is roughly two-and-a-half hours.

To most easily reach restaurants and shops throughout the valley, we recommend a rental car through club partner Avis, as public transportation including taxis or ride-sharing services are not reliable. If you are visiting wineries and tastings, your Destination Concierge is happy to arrange a driver or bicycle rentals.

Need help booking flights? Our luxury airfare concierge can book your preferred seats and flight times at the best available price.

Incredible!

This place is absolutely fabulous! It was as if we were in Tuscany...the home, the grounds, the staff, the wine. All of it was perfection! I highly recommend!

A Private Wine Country Retreat

The Cottage is tucked away amid the quiet vineyards of Bluerock Winery at the northern end of Sonoma County. It feels like it is off the beaten track but is still easily accessible with short drives to an array of outstanding wineries and the delightful nearby town of Healdsburg with excellent dining and small-town charm. We have stayed at this property with friends or family several times and are always ready to return. Be sure to enjoy a quiet morning walk through the vineyards, refresh at the adjacent pool after a day of wine tasting, and make time to relax by the outdoor stone fireplace under the stars.

Weekend in Sonoma

We love Sonoma and Vinters Cottage was the prefect place for a weekend of wine tasting in the Sonoma area. the house is very comfortable and in a beautiful setting...tucked among the grape vines with beautiful views. Our host was great and we also met the owner of the home who was more than accomodating. We would definitely go back. One thing to take note of is that Ubers are not easy to get so we ended up hiring a driver thru the Uber app and it worked out great!

Amazing!!

What a great time. The best part is how quiet and tranquil it is out there. It’s just you and the vines. We stayed in every night and just cooked there. Everything that was needed was there at our fingertips. The wine was very good and the food for the tasting was wonderful. Everyone has gone above and beyond. Service all around was wonderful and our wine guide Walter Nochez was very knowledgeable. We will for sure be back as soon as we can. The wine around this area is very good. Great to be in another part of wine country.

Peaceful getaway off the beaten path

We loved this property and how peaceful it was. Having the winery to ourselves was so wonderful. We spent the afternoon in the pool and it was just so relaxing. It is about an hour from Napa so depending on your plans, it may be a little out of the way if you're doing some days of tastings that way. It is close to Healdsberg if you're looking that direction and not as far to Sonoma. We had the private chef come in with the wine pairings from the winery and it was wonderful.
