Location

You can fly into either San Francisco International Airport (SFO) or Oakland International Airport (OAK). We recommend San Francisco, though you may encounter more traffic getting from the city to the valley. The drive from either airport is about 90 minutes. Virtually all major airlines fly into both airports.

If you're staying in one of our Healdsburg properties, you may not want a car; you're just blocks from all the dining and wineries of the Healdsburg Plaza main square. From the other residences, a rental car is recommended, as you'll want to explore the countryside. Alternatively, your Destination Concierge is happy to arrange a car service.

Loved it!

We loved our trip to Healdsburg! The Wheelman House was great, within walking distance to so many restaurants, tasting rooms and shopping and the main plaza. The room was very comfortable and cozy. Our on-site concierge, Alicia, was very attentive and checked in with us daily.We did a walking food and wine tour as well as a paired food and wine tasting at Williamson Wines. Both were wonderful experiences! Don'tmiss Willi's Seafood and Wine Bar - it was excellent!

Healdsburg Getaway

The Wheelhouse is located one block from the square in Healdsburg. We went there for a birthday weekend and had a fabulous time. There are great restaurants within a couple blocks: Barn Diva, SpoonBar, Valette, and Michelin 3-star SingleThread. Thee are also a number of galleries and, of course, lots of nice wine tasting.
We did a long bike ride on Saturday and some wine tasting in the afternoon and on Sunday.
It is an ideal place for a weekend getaway.

Perfect Location

Great way to experience Healdsburg. Right downtown and a short drive to some amazing wineries it is a great getaway. A very modern studio apartment shaped like a wine barrell makes for a great couples getaway.

great location, right in the center of town, breakfast at Oakville is great, lots of restaurants and tasting rooms within walking distance

Can't beat Sonoma/Healdsburg

This is our second visit to Wheelman House. The first time we stayed in Chamise, and this time stayed in Geysers. The units are very similar is size and layout, except Chamise has a fireplace (and feels a little bigger), while Geysers connects to another outside courtyard with a shared fireplace. While both units are great, we did prefer Chamise over Geysers.

If you are visiting wine country, Healdsburg is a great place to stay. It is right in wine country (especially Sonoma) and even trips to Napa and pretty short (~30-40 mins). The unit is right near the Healdsburg square, which has a lot of shps and fantastic dining... it is definitely our preferred choice when we visit.

The Inspirato team did a great job setting up tours and tastings for us, and the partner wineries do an exceptional job.
