Great anniversary trip to Sugar Beach.

Sugar Beach is a special place. It in my opinion is best for couples but also offers lots to do for families. We were there spring break if traveling as a couple I would avoid that time of year. Still the service was incredible.

Our villa wasn't very private and offered no view, it was vastly different than the one pictured on the Inspirato website. However, we brought this up and they moved us to a beach bungalow which worked for us. Every room is different here even if the categories are the same, be sure and ask if you aren't satisfied, they will help you out if they can.

Sugar Beach is a great place to spend time

Our family has fallen for Sugar Beach, this is our second trip there and would highly recommend it. The Villa we had was high up on the hill with amazing views of the carribean sea and the room is spacious, comfortable and very nice. Service at Sugar Beach is amazing with full butler service. Be aware that if your villa is high on the hill Sugar Beach provides shuttles anywhere you want to go, I would prefer to walk most of the time but that isn't possible if you have a villa up on the hill. The first trip we were on the beach which is better in my opinion but we had an amazing time.

Luxury

This trip was beautiful- Reminded us of lush Hawaii without us having to get on a 10 hour flight. My pointers are this: Breakfast is included every day and it is AMAZING. I didn't know that going in so that was a nice surprise. The food at the Resort is very expensive but I think it is that way everywhere. It was great food. One night they had a managers cocktail reception with apps & drinks and it was great. They also had a themed Latin dinner night which was the BEST food. If you like to play tennis/pickle ball or PADEL. The facilities are beautiful. We stayed in 808 which is at the top of the hill- beautiful views/private pool/ peaceful and quiet. The only challenge (not really one) was having to get a shuttle everywhere) But I wouldn't change it and they were so fast coming- we called our butler when we wanted to leave and she took care of it quickly. I would recommend finding a driver- and keep the same one. We used one for dinner one night Super Dave- and he then took us to the waterfall/mud baths/lunch/to grab beer/ and paid less that the guys at the beach and were treated like VIP. I don't think the hotel likes that as much because they miss out on the cut- but it was so much easier and loved it. Super Dave drove us everywhere and back to airport which was awesome. The other location to stay is called Beach Bungalow. Benefits of that is it is directly on the beach and walkable to everything. Beautiful. The downside is it isn't private because people can be laying out on the beach in front of your place. Just depends on what environment you are looking for. Will definitely go back. The locals say it is the best hotel on the island. The service and people were beyond wonderful and accomodating.

Sugar Beach Was a Joy

The rooms, the food, and the service were all spectacular. Loved the beach, however, the entry into the water has about 10 feet of rocks that kept me out of the water most of the time. We'll return for sure. I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with the renovation that is underway.
