Location

St. Simons Island is about an hour from Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) and Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV). Upon flying into either of those airports, we recommend renting a car through club partner Avis and driving to Salt Tide. You can then explore the neighboring islands on your own time. Another perfect family vacation

This was my families first time visiting St Simons. We couldn’t have had a more perfect family vacation. Salt Tide is an amazing house. Plenty of room for everyone. The game room and the pool were perfect relaxing spots when we were not exploring the island. The house is literally steps away from the beach. Thank you Inspirato for helping create another perfect family vacation!!!!!

Fun at the Beach

We loved our trip to St. Simon's, We met a small group of our children/grandchildren. Salt Tide is a large home, with 4 levels. There was plenty of privacy for our family, including separate living areas for a new baby, active toddler, and adults trying to work while vacationing. The beach is wide and not crowded (we were in early season). The restaurants were good enough, not fabulous, but we ate at home a lot since we had young children. The pool and hot tub were a great perk and the space around the pool had plenty of sun and shade.

Super relaxing and low-key family vacation!

very spacious home with lots of privacy on each of the fourth floors. Everybody had their own bathrooms. The concierge was spot on and very sweet to set things up for my husband‘s birthday at arrival. We have a wonderful chef prepared low country boil dinner with Inspirato suggestion. Also really enjoyed having the golf carts to come and go.

Fantastic spot for a large family vacation!!!!!

Salt Tide and St. Simons Island are a great choice for a large family vacation. We had our family and 7 grandkids and had a fantastic time. The house was very functional, comfortable and the living space was great. Loved the pool and the convenient access to the beach. It is a four-story walk up so be prepared to climb some steps. We did not have an issue with this at all. Ro, the Destination Concierge was very attentive and was there when and if we needed her That was exactly what we were looking for. I highly recommend this destination!!!

Great for Groups

What a fabulous house! It is plenty big enough for everyone to have private areas, but also the carefully planned small areas are perfect for late night conversation, quiet morning reads, or late night shuffleboard games without interrupting anything else going on. This was our first time here, but won’t be our last.
