Island Bliss on Turks and Caico

Our family of 6 spent a week at the GraceBay Club on the island of Turks and Caico. We had a 2 bedroom suite with an adjoining one bedroom. When we arrived the suites were clean and well stocked with plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash, hangers, etc. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, plates and flatware. The only thing missing was salt and pepper.

At our first breakfast Austin, our concierge, introduced himself and let us know he was available to take care of any requests we had. He was an amazing concierge and very responsive when I texted him. He scheduled our ride to and from the airport, dinner reservations, boat trips and any rides we needed.

The location of the Grace Bay Club is perfect with it's stunning views of the of the Atlantic Sea. The crystal-clear blue waters are calm and I never tired of gazing at the lovely ocean views and sunsets. We enjoyed swimming to the buoys and hanging out in the large, round donut-shaped floats that were placed in different parts of the water. We felt like we were swimming in the biggest and most beautiful ocean pool we had ever experienced. Our four kids, ages 15-26, went tubing one day. My husband and I heard their laughter and screams of joy as they were bounced around on the sea.

Grace Bay has complimentary Hobie Cats sailboats on the shore for Grace Bay Club guests. One day my husband, son and I went sailing. We had a blast! I sailed for the first time and am excited to do it again.

We also took a 2.5 hr boat trip and snorkeled along the coral reefs of Princess Alexandria National Park. The fish did not fear us as we swam along with them. Our guide told us that it's illegal to fish in the National Park waters so the fish have no reason to fear humans. The big highlight of that excursion was swimming with two reef sharks as they hunted for food along the reefs. Our tour guides assured us that they were harmless.

Our kids missed big waves as we usually go bodysurfing and surfing on our vacations. They were happy at the end of the day so I knew they weren't too bothered. For my husband and I, it was also our first vacation without waves. We didn't mind and loved being able to float on the sea without fear of being pummeled by surprise.

Spa by L'Occitane was lovely and we indulged in massages and facials. They also have an amazing steam room and, once you've had a massage or facial, you can return and use the steam room as many times as you wish.

All in all, the trip was a success and I highly recommend Turks and Caico at the Grace Bay Club.

Great Vacation with Family

The room was perfect for my family of 4. It was spacious, clean and had a great view of the ocean. The resort is a good size and the team is very responsive both in person and over WhatsApp. We booked two boat excursions using the concierge, which were great. We especially enjoyed wakeboarding, wake surfing and tubing with the Wakesurf Turks team. We really enjoyed Offshore at the resort, the food, atmosphere and wait staff were great.

GBC is fantastic

Our flight was delayed and we couldn’t arrive until the next day. Grace Bay Club extended our stay by a day with no extra charge. The staff were friendly and professional. Service was great. Narvy and Bruce were our concierge/butlers and one or the other checked in with us 2-3 times per day. We ate offsite at Indigo and Caicos Cafe. Both were great. On resort we ate at Infiniti. Very good. The beach is beautiful and cabana and chairs were very comfortable. The resort offers complimentary Hobie Cats, paddle boards, kayaks and bicycles. The staff here goes above and beyond. We purchased skypass for arrival and departure through the airport and it is well worth the price! We will definitely be coming back.

Great accommodations and resort service

My goals for this trip were to spend a couple of days reading on the beach, a couple of off property activities, and having a great space to hang out in with my family at night (we like to play cards). I was looking for a property with resort services and a "nice" accommodation with good living space. GBC was perfect! It has all of the service associated with a high end resort plus great condo style unit.

Overall the staff were friendly and the service was good. The best part for me was the beach service, friendly and attentive. We had a 2 bedroom deluxe villa and the unit was exactly as represented in the photos. We had someone sleeping on the pull out sofa and the housekeeping team came everyday to put it away and set it up at night. Overall housekeeping was great.

My family liked the gym. I personally did not visit it :)

Service at The Grill was hit or miss, but overall we were happy with the convenience and the food. The included breakfast food options were good. The buffet had a lot of options and they also offer made to order omelets, waffles, etc as well as additional coffee options like lattes and americanos. Just Tacos was also great for lunch.

I liked the location because it was walkable to shopping and restaurants.

Excellent location, beautiful property

We enjoyed this property very much. It was situated on one of the island's most beautiful beaches. The on-property restaurants were great and the accommodations were very comfortable. The property was also closely situated to other hot spots around the island. We'd like to go back.
