Location

Grace Bay Club is located on the island of Providenciales, part of the Turks and Caicos archipelago. Providenciales International Airport (PLS), which welcomes both domestic connecting and international flights, is an approximately 20-minute drive from the resort. All visitors require a valid passport as well as a return/onward ticket to clear immigration.

Taxis are readily available, but there is no public transportation or bus services on Providenciales.

If you plan to explore the island outside of the resort, we recommend renting a car through club partner Avis. Note that driving is on the left, as in the United Kingdom.

GBC is fantastic

Our flight was delayed and we couldn’t arrive until the next day. Grace Bay Club extended our stay by a day with no extra charge. The staff were friendly and professional. Service was great. Narvy and Bruce were our concierge/butlers and one or the other checked in with us 2-3 times per day. We ate offsite at Indigo and Caicos Cafe. Both were great. On resort we ate at Infiniti. Very good. The beach is beautiful and cabana and chairs were very comfortable. The resort offers complimentary Hobie Cats, paddle boards, kayaks and bicycles. The staff here goes above and beyond. We purchased skypass for arrival and departure through the airport and it is well worth the price! We will definitely be coming back.

Excellent location, beautiful property

We enjoyed this property very much. It was situated on one of the island's most beautiful beaches. The on-property restaurants were great and the accommodations were very comfortable. The property was also closely situated to other hot spots around the island. We'd like to go back.

RUN, don't walk from this place

Complete middle market, tired property with terrible service. This is where Northeast doctors and their "wives" go on deal. Please do not waste your money here. If you want a loud "club med" experience with workers banging on pots and pans singing happy birthday to someone at the top of their lungs every morning at breakfast, have at it.

Great stay and a few tips

This was our 3rd trip to TCI and our second stay at Grace Bay Club, but our first trip with Inspirato.

Overall, a great experience with Inspirato. Ruth the "pre-trip" concierge was terrific, use her before you arrive to book airport transfers, restaurants, excursions, etc.

-Suite selection:

We stayed in the Villas so I can only advise about them. There are 4, labeled B thru E. They have four floors and if you are in a suite they are either XF02 or the XF04, where X is the building (B-E), and F is the floor (1-4), and looking at the hotel from the bay, 4 is on the left and 2 on the right. We were in C404. If you want the best view, request the 4th floor. It was just us, so we preferred a quieter building, B and C are best for that and closer to the adult pool. If you have kids and want to be near the family pool, D and E are the best.

-Concierge:

Download the app "WhatsApp" before you arrive, this is how they will communicate with you. No one told us and it was a bit of a problem as they thought they were communicating with us when we didn't even have the app loaded. FYI, they are very busy doing multiple jobs and can sometimes be slow to respond.

-Restaurants we recommend:

Infinity (hotel), Caicos Cafe (not long walk if you're young, we took taxi) , Coyaba (easy walk), Indigo (taxi), Coco Bistro (taxi, hint: if it looks looks like rain, ask for an upstairs dining room when you arrive)

-Expedite Airport:

We used the expedited transfer services on arrival and departure on each trip and for us it made a huge difference. They meet and greet you and take you through customs, etc. For an extra charge, you can add the VIP room for departure. We had a three hour delay and this was great as the terminal is crazy busy with no seats.

-Taxis at the resort, a warning:

For some reason, even with the Concierge's ordering the taxis, we had a problem every night at the resort. Just a head's up, go down to the front desk 5 minutes early and check if it's arrived, or on the way.
