Location

You'll fly into Providenciales International Airport (PLS). Many airlines offer service here, including Air Canada, American Airlines, Delta, Jet Blue, United/Continental and US Airways. There are daily direct flights from Miami, Atlanta, New York (JFK), Boston, Philadelphia and Charlotte.

Since you're oceanfront on Grace Bay, you won't need a car to reach the best beach on the island. However, we do recommend a rental car to explore other beach and snorkeling sites, as well as venturing to world-class restaurants. Your Destination Concierge is happy to discuss options with you.

Beautiful, family friendly vacation

This was an a absolutely amazing trip. We went as a family of five, 2 adults, 3 children between the ages of three and ten. Telisha, the concierge was absolutely phenomenal and helping me plan our trip and book all of our excursions and dining reservations. The Winward Villa was absolutely wonderful with plenty of space. I highly recommend pre-ordering groceries as there is not a lot of grab and go food options, but we did get takeout one night from the restaurant on site Barbetta. The staff at the Somerset was amazing, especially Miss Nadine at the pool bar. She treated us like family and by the end of the trip my kids were giving her hugs and telling her they loved her and would hope to see her again next year. The beach was absolutely gorgeous, they have buckets of sand toys for the kids, so you don’t have to pack them, as well as first come first serve snorkel gear that they clean in front of you and kayaks and more water sports gear. The beach was so clean and the water was so refreshing and rather calm for mid July. The beach barbecue on Tuesday nights at the Somerset is an absolute must, the entertainment was great, and the food was absolutely delicious as it was provided by the Barbetta restaurant on site. The kids and myself had a great time dancing the night away and loved the fire show at the end of the evening! Mostly everywhere we went had fantastic food! We took a public boat tour to go mermaid watching, and what fun it was for the whole family! Highly recommend it if you do not get sea sick or are scared of small spaces. Great for kids and they do a reef tour as well with no mermaids. We saw some amazing sea life and beautiful reefs. Everything about this trip was amazing. We had two storms hit while on the island and we did lose power twice (again mid July), but didn’t stop us from doing much even went into town and walked through some shops and got ice cream. I would 100% return!

Relaxing Stay in Beautiful Location

This was our first visit to Turks and Caicos, and we can't wait to return!

Windward fit our needs very well! Some recent updates to the kitchen and some of the furniture have made the unit more modern looking than I was expecting from the pictures.

Location on Grace Bay is perfect. Water was warm and the reef protects the area from big waves, so it is great for all ages. We felt safe on the island day and night.

There are 2 pools at this property, one is more adult oriented, a long and narrow lap pool. The other is a zero-entry pool that was very popular with families and young children. Adults looking for quiet time might prefer to get chairs on the beach.

We chose to rent a car and I would recommend that to others as well. Being a British territory, that meant adjusting to driving on the "other side" of the road, but it was worth it to be able to explore the island and get to some of the less touristy spots.

A final insight to share is that the prices for restaurants and activities are higher than most places we normally visit, so budget extra. Our concierge, Telisha, made great recommendations and knows which places are best to visit on which days of the week. Our favorite restaurant was The Marine Room, we might have visited twice had we found it earlier. Parallels 23 at The Palms next door, BLT Steak at the Ritz Carlton, and Sui-Ren were other great meals (though service at Sui-Ren was extremely slow). The front desk staff recommended Omars for lunch, a 15 minute drive away but our favorite for a local and authentic feel.

A combination of great service from friendly people, a relaxing atmosphere, and us not scheduling a lot of activities led to us leaving this trip feeling like it was one of the most relaxing we can remember!

Stunning Property

My husband and I just returned from a trip to Turks and Caicos. We actually stayed at 2 different properties since the Somerset wasn’t available until Tuesday. We checked into The Palms in Saturday and stayed in their 1 st floor ocean front suite available to Inspirato members. It was amazing! Had all the amenities and loved the hotel. Great pool and service . Dining on this property was also excellent.

The Somerset residence was gorgeous with beach and pool views. The amenities and concierge and service were top notch. This property was definitely quieter than The Palms. We went to dinner each night to a different restaurant. Some were walkable on beach from resort.

We loved both properties and the beautiful island of Turks and Caicos! We would return

Five star accommodations & concierge service

Everything was perfect! Our local concierge did an amazing job with reservations and activities. We brought our three older children (ages 6-9) and they had a blast! I highly recommend renting a private boat for the day and touring the islands.
