Great, but…

Overall the experience was excellent. Valentina was one of the of the best pre-trip planners we’ve had and Andi & his family locally were great. The home is ~900 years old and really is a cool experience. Just know what you’re getting as the furnishings and interior were not typical Inspirato luxury. We enjoyed a hot air balloon ride and Colle Bereto winery and would recommend both. Do the pizza dinner. Skip the local restaurant adjacent to the small market. The 2 key issues are 1. You are very isolated, it’s a 20-30 minute drive anywhere except the sparse local options; and 2. The driveway is a rutted, pot-holed dirt road up a mountain. I would definitely suggest an AWD rental car!

Relaxing Tuscan adventure

Andi and his family are amazing. The place is beautiful with so much history. The truffle hunt with dogs is a good family adventure. The Colle Bereto private wine tour is awesome as well. Driving is not bad but would recommend transfer to the villa.

Family Gathering

We stayed at Villa Bellezza after our niece's wedding in neighboring Chianti. Everything about the trip was perfect - from Andi and Nadia to Nando's pizza to the house itself!

We enjoyed Italy very much!

We had many wonderful excursions. A family favorite was bring in a chef for an italian cooking class. It was educational and fun. Another find worthy of repeating was a guided bicycle tour.

We found many bugs in the villa. That was dissapointing.

Great family stay!

We really loved our visit to Villa Bellezza. We spent a full week during the winter holidays. The onsite staff was very welcoming and very helpful, despite the the holiday season. Each day was filled with fun activities visiting nearby Tuscan towns and some additional adventures such as a walk through the countryside, wine tasting, and truffle hunting.

Just to be aware, yes the long uphill drive was substantial but it was manageable and a source of some laughter for us. The villa is also quite a bit out in the countryside so anywhere you visit is at least 20-30 minutes away, so a driver or rental is a must. We also would recommend meals in the larger towns in Tuscany or at the villa rather than the very local resultants a close distance to the villa (the very local restaurants were not as welcoming and not as great of an experience)
