Location

You can fly directly to Vail/Eagle County Airport (EGE) with nonstop service from 11 cities providing connections from virtually anywhere in North America. Eagle/Vail Airport is only 30 minutes from Vail via convenient Colorado Mountain Express van service, rental car or transportation arranged by your Destination Concierge. Denver International Airport (DEN) is a scenic, 2.5-hour drive via I-70 and up to Vail Pass.

Dakota is great for entertaining!

My family booked the Dakota for a birthday party. Kathie did an amazing job making plans for an in-residence dinner that included balloons, a champagne toast, and dessert. There was plenty of space for dining and walking around. I would highly recommend the Dakota for any type of celebration or small gathering. My only cautionary tale: The windows in Bedroom 2 and 3 do not open. You have to keep the AC running and/or leave the doors open for airflow. Bedroom 2 and 3 were very stuffy. I would encourage Inspirato to put fans in those rooms.

Family Skiing Trip In Vail

We stayed in the Dakota unit in Solaris and loved it. It is perfect for a family gathering. The Solaris and Inspirato staffs are great and provided excellent service, even though their are still Covid related restrictions in place. The Valet Ski Equipment service is a wonderful touch. Just leave your ski equipment with the Valets when you park your car and it is delivered to your private locker room next to the Gondola. When you leave it's returned to you when you pick up your car. Imagine not having to walk back to your home in you ski boots each day. Of course it's only a few steps to the Inspirato Lounge. What a great gathering place with family, friends and other members. More top notch service from the staff in the Lounge. Kudos to Lauren for her gracious presence and service to the members. Solaris is in the heart of Vail Village so restaurants, bars, entertainment and shopping are all a short walk away.

This is our second trip to Solaris in the past year and we are returning in July to enjoying summer in Vail. Summer, fall or winter---it's great to be in Vail.

Vail- Dakota residence at Solaris

I went with 2 girlfriends for 4 nights using Pass in mid-Sept. 2020. The Dakota residence (3-bedroom) is amazing. It would be a great unit to entertain in- a beautiful kitchen/dining/living area with plenty of space. Everything was excellent except that the lighting in all the bathrooms is very dim. I commented on it in the post-stay survey so hopefully they will fix that.

We went for hikes in the morning, ate breakfast and lunch in the unit and then walked to nearby restaurants I had booked on Open Table before our arrival.

The concierge, Sarah, was very attentive. We would definitely return again.

Great location and excellent staff

The residence is pristine w/ a nice view up the mountain. The bedrooms are large and the restrooms look like you are entering a spa. Plenty of room to stretch out after a long day on the mountain. The staff at the Solaris is excellent and will do whatever they can to make your stay pleasant. They always remember our names - which is a nice touch. Our family goes to Vail several times a year and the residences at the Solaris w/ Inspirato are always top notch.
