An Anomaly

trip planning started strong. When we arrived at the unit, it wasn't as clean as we're used to. in the Master bedroom, the curtains had fallen down and it took a day to get them back up. at 5am, the alarm clock in one of the bedrooms went off. At 6am, the alarm in another bedroom went off and at 615, the third and final alarm clock rang. Sigh...

The leaves and Vail are stunning this time of year and we did a lot of great hiking.

We went to the pool on Saturday evening and couldn't get into the water cuz it was so dirty. Of course, I let the Solaris staff know. That was a bummer.

The next day, there was a street festival right outside that interestingly, the local staff never mentioned! sigh...

Overall, we LOVE Vail and the Solaris and had a great time despite because we were all together. This particular trip was a miss. I'm sure the next won't be.

Great Girls Trip & Birthday Celebrations!

We spent 3 days at Solaris Silverleaf in Vail to celebrate 3 bdays and all was great! The residence is well laid out giving plenty of space & privacy and the open concept kitchen/dining/great room is fabulous. Impeccably clean, great amenities, great service as we had issues with the oven & fireplace (minor and the staff was on it immediately). Inspirato had arranged for balloons, cake and wine, thank you!! Dinner downstairs at Matsuhisa, fantastic food, service so-so, clearly struggling with staffing. Spa days at Sonnenalp. Overall, a great trip even during the mud season!

Summer Getaway

Vail is spectacular during the summer months. Ford Park is not to be missed, whether it’s for a picnic, taking the kids to the incredible playground, or enjoying the alpine gardens. Epic Discovery at the top of Lionshead is a fantastic family outing. Our kids loved the zip line, ropes course, coaster, tubing and bungee trampoline.

Beautiful fall break among the Aspens

Vail is beautiful in late September when the Aspen trees are at their peak color. Solaris has a great location in Vail village. The restaurant Matsuhisha in the lower lobby of the Solaris is divine. Best meals we ate in Vail were served right there. The condominium is well appointed and lovely. The lighting throughout, however is very dim and the highway noise in the bedrooms is disappointingly loud and of course relentless.

Great time in Vail

We had a great time at Solaris in Vail. The residence was beautiful and very centrally located to Gondola One, great restaurants and shopping. We also enjoyed the Inspirato lounge right downstairs. There is bowling, swimming, and a movie theater right in the building. And our concierges were super responsive and helpful in finding us fun dining options to fit our taste. Thank you for a great time! We would love to go back next year!
