Location

Nolinski Venice is located 9 miles (15 km) from the Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE). There are no cars in Venice, so the best way to see the city is on foot or by water. You can hail a water taxi fairly easily, or pay for a private gondola to see the sights in a more romantic setting.

Great experience

Nothing to say but….thank you. Great experience. Hotel Nolinski was perfectly situated, close to everything, but it was the friendly warm service by the entire team. However, within this great group of people, one stands out. I travel in the US over 120 nights a year for the last 25 years. It is rare to be taken care of like Nolinskis best…Sylvana. My wife and I both agree she went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. From daily notes, to small gifts of appreciation, to getting the room temperature right in 100+ degree temperature, Sylvana made us feel like we were valued guests. Bravo Inspirato Nolinski and Sylvana

Beautiful Hotel and Fantastic Concierge

The staff and concierge at Hotel Nolinski went out of their way to make our family's stay in Venice an amazing one. The hotel is beautifully appointed inside and very close to St. Mark's Square and the upscale shopping area of St. Mark's. (5min walk)

Our rooms were gorgeous and each had a sitting area off the bedroom. The nightly turndown service was a nice touch. My husband would never let me hear the end of it if I didn't also mention the full breakfast served in the beautiful Palais Royal Restaurant every morning and the amazing speakeasy feel of the Library Bar that we often found ourselves in!

My family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teenagers) spent an amazing few days in Venice. The Nolinski concierge team was able to book the majority of our activities and meals ahead of time and were also able to move some times around when some of our activities went longer than expected. They were always gracious and accommodating.

We had a private transfer from airport to water taxi to the hotel from the Venice airport. It was seamless. Our driver met us as we arrived in baggage claim at the airport, ushered us through customs and to the waiting car to drive us to the Nolinski private dock to catch the water taxi to the hotel. Then Nolinski staff met us at the boat dock, transferred our luggage to the hotel and escorted us to the hotel to check in. It was much appreciated after an overnight flight from the US.

We arranged for an English-speaking guide to take us on a tour of St. Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace one day and then the following day take us to tour a glass factory on the island of Murano and to sightsee on the island of Burano. Our guide, arranged for us by the Nolinski concierge, was amazing. If you want to take a tour, please ask for Manuela. She is a native of Venice was amazingly knowledgeable about all things Venetian and was even tuned in enough to realize when our 3 teenagers were growing bored of all the information we were being told!

Here are a few restaurants I would highly recommend.

Il Caffe Nolinski, Do Forni, Ristorante Da Ivo, Terrazza Danieli, and Oliva Nera.

One thing we found as a small drawback with the Nolinski is that it is a little tucked away from the other hotels in Venice and is on a walking street and not on the water. We also noticed that people can be loud in the middle of the night walking along below the hotel.
