For a week this past May, dozens of Inspirato members were treated to luxury experiences across the Mediterranean coastline, during a luxury Mediterranean cruise Inspirato Only cruise. They sailed from Barcelona to chic ports-of-call along the French Riviera down the coast to the Italian Riviera, celebrated for its charming villages and scenic beauty.
From a helipad on the ship that offered members and their guests a bird’s-eye view of Italy to a classical concert of Phantom of the Opera performed at sunset, this luxury Mediterranean cruise’s itinerary was filled with unique Inspirato Only events.

These extra touches are what keep members like Mary Ann coming back year after year. “The attention to each guest’s individualized travel requests has been amazing … once the trip began, the Inspirato French & Italian Rivieras Yacht Cruise Team were BEYOND! [The Inspirato cruise team] were always interacting with the cruise guests, answering questions, catering to requests, offering helpful information, sharing stories and just connecting,” Mary Ann shared.
And for Inspirato member, Rachel, there was an extra-special moment that had been in the works for weeks. Her then-boyfriend Jamie reached out to Inspirato before the cruise to ask for help with a proposal. After talking through some options, the cruise team was on call for whenever the moment felt right. Once on board, Jamie decided to pop the question on their second full day in St. Tropez.
Dream Proposal Experience
“It became a full team effort to make this as special as possible and be able to surprise both Jamie and Rachel with a congratulations set up when they came back on board,” said Kelley Dingens, Manager, Inspirato Only luxury experiences. “Two of us went into town to pick up Dom Perignon, Jolene stopped at the market after her tour to pick up a bouquet of flowers, and the cruise team had brought a few decorations and a special card to set up the room when it officially happened! We had the whole crew on standby to help celebrate them and they were so surprised and happy when they came back from dinner that night!”
Epic Luxury Experiences
This luxury Mediterranean cruise started in Barcelona and hit all the hot spots along the way to Rome, Italy. There was a cooking class in Collioure, France; relaxing in the iconic beach town Saint Tropez; touring the F1 course in Monte Carlo; visiting the colorful Cinque Terre in Italy; wine tasting in Porto Santo Stefano; and exploring the ancient limestone cliffs of Bonifacio, France.
“This was our fourth yachting cruise with Inspirato—this cruise was the BEST,” said Mary Ann. “After each of our yachting cruises, we ask ‘how can Inspirato top this?’ Don’t know how you do it, but please keep it coming!”
